I remember getting creamed by a level 40-something Dad guy using a Custom Dual Squelcher a few months back. And you know, I see a whole lot of Dads and Moms on Splatoon.
I also saw Han Solo this weekend
(And hooray 102 posts)

Fought a guy a couple nights ago, went by the name of "SqidVicous" (sic). I thought it was clever, typos aside. And he was a beast with his weapon, to boot. (I think it was an N-ZAP 89?)

I played a guy with no name. I don't know if it was a bug or what. You could see his level and name slot in the lobby, and there were all 8 players in the match. I wish I had thought of that.

I know it's not a real specific example, but I see a lot of people who use Greek, Cyrillic, and various other characters to spell their names. So you end up with names like "Щïllîдm, Ðëηιςэ, Яøи, бгüсε, Ξτнàn," and so on. (These aren't real names, by the way.)

It's fun to try and pronounce the names phonetically. It tempts me to make an alternate account with my name styled in the same way, but using the correct letters instead of Latin letter lookalikes.
