Zarqa, who had apparently disappeared after a bit, returned, dragging Jordan back by one of his tentacles.
"Haha, alright, alright! Let go!" Jordan laughed, apparently not hurt by the huffy clownfish. He smiled at his already assembled group, sheepishly grinning at being late.
"Sorry, I'm late! Thanks for waiting," he quickly apologized to his group. "Just switching legs."
Jordan grinned wide, his hands on his hips. "Why don't we begin this hike? Also, were you guys playing Two truths and a Lie?"

From the trail head, it was a lush forest path outside of Triggerfish. However, when the group diverged from the main path, they soon heard the sound of waves crashing against a cliff-side in the distance.
It was the sea! ...since much of in-and-around-Inkopolis was surrounded by water.
Jordan had briefly explained what their journey would look like and a sea-side cliff was one of the landmarks. After hiking out of the forest, they'd arrive at the breathtaking view of the sea, then take a sharp turn to head down towards the Marsh, where the boardwalk would start. The forest, the cliff, then to the boardwalk... Quite an adventure was ahead.
However, to keep the walk from becoming monotonous... Jordan suggested they keep up two truths and a lie for a little bit?
((Use your senses to fill in the blanks about the scenery! When you feel like you've walked enough, someone be like "ah, I see the ocean, there's a cliff" and we can keep moving alooong))

After he got enough rest Zawlt had once again made his way for the trail head. As he got there he noticed one group was just leaving, but it wasn't the group he was with. He then noticed the others that were still there that he saw when he was resting. "Well I'll be, guess I'm not too late after all," he said as he walked over to Viola's group.

Not wanting to feel like a stranger in the group, April sped up her pace until she was in front of everyone, then, without concern for her own safety, she spun around and continued to walk backwards, facing the group.

Viola sat down on a rock and waved as she watched the other group leave. " I wonder how long til we're next." She thought aloud, looking at those who had gotten to the trailhead as well.

Chaos was busy staring off to the deep blue ocean on his side. He felt at peace, clearing of what's been troubling him for a moment. Though it is funny how something so deadly to a species that is weak to water can be beautiful sometimes. Then that moment stopped as a figure rushed passed him and appeared before as she introduce herself. "Oh hello, I'm Chaos...nice to meet you to.."

"Sorry about that. I was notified about another student and I had to pick them up, but I couldn't find them. Made my life harder, but nothing to split tentacles for," Orca said as he walked up to the Trailhead with Motor by his side.
"You didn't have to say the last part," Motor muttered under its breath. "Anyways, let's get moving."
---SCENE CHANGE---
Once the treck into the trail began, the enviroment around them slowly grew more dense as they moved forward.
Roots curled into the eroded path, reclaiming the ground that it once owned. The leaves of the towering trees shrouded the ground, sunlight barely making it to the forest floor.
There was still quiet a ways to go until they reached the lake, having to travel deeper into the forest and branching back out into the open.
Motor pointed out the small rivers and streams the group passed here and there. Strange life seemed to flourish around the edges of where the water touched.
Orca suggested to watch where they step.
(Just as what everyone else is doing, fill in the blanks about the scenery! If you want to add more such as finding something cool or tripping, go for it. Don't forget to interact with eachother. We can then move onto the clearing and to the lake.)

Looking at Payge, Viola nodded. "Fair enough. We're just plain ol' city squids" She said with a giggle."It is very nice though, seeing all this life that we just don't normally see." She started to walk backwards, looking around at where they previously walked. Her attention returned to Zerul as she laughed. "Well, get used to it. Now that you're my friend, your gonna get plenty of squid life experience." She said, nudging him again, just as playfully.

Serink stayed a small distance behind the group, her navy blue hood over her sky blue tentacles, darkening her face. She had a black back pack, within it was her sleeping bag and some of her own food that she had made for herself.

Lumea thought about how she wanted to introduce herself to the rest of the group. She had already been acquainted with Terence, Lucas, and April, but she was unfamiliar with Ras, Chaos, and Alex. With a small sigh, she backed off of the idea and wondered if anyone would still be interested in playing '2 Truths and a Lie.' After mulling it over for a bit, Lumea decided to ask.
"So, uh... Is anyone still interested in playing Two Truths and a Lie?" she asked, willing herself not to falter. "It's going to be a long trip, so we might as well do something to pass the time..."
