well after 9 wins in a row followed by a comeback win from two losses, my all-time peak x power is now 200 points higher today than it was yesterday LOL
May have said already, I'd like to seriously advise anyone who one-tricks a weapon to consider writing a guide on it here. Even if you don't think you're the absolute best player out there, there are plenty of players who are newer to the game that you are currently better than and would appreciate any advice they can reach.
934 wins on Charcoal Decav. Trying to get to 1000 by the end of the season, but sadly I hurt my wrist again earlier today while playing the game lmao. No idea when it'll get better but it'll be kinda sad if this ends up being what gatekeeps me out of there. Probably should look into some hand exercises
If nothing else I have over 100 on the Mint kit so I can say I have 1000 on the weapon in total
[Voice of guy about to get absolutely stomped] Hmm, I should play some Rainmaker while I try and finish up my grind to 3 stars with all Dualies!
After a month and a half of even more playing, I've updated my Decavitator guide! It now includes the Mint kit and more accurately represents my current understanding of the Charcoal kit.

After barely over two months...my most played weapon.
Two things!
1. I made it to S+10 for the first time! Just off of Open games as well, not Series. My winrate's been really good this season.
2. WHAT
Couldn't play Splatoon since I was out three tiring days for work stuff, and my first solo session back I win 9 of the 12 games I queued up for. Nice
So today I went to play Open so I could get one win for the daily bonus thing, literal first game I hop into, the opposing team has THREE top-level western players...and mine has three backlines on it
Judging from how they played I don't think my opponents were taking the game too seriously (and I don't blame them given the comps) but I still think I did ok all things considered
Silver Aerospray is actually pretty fun with the buffs. The Reefslider 70 -> Fizzy Bomb combo is really fun and the ways in which you need to try and use Fizzy Bomb to mitigate the problems of the main weapon are pretty cool. It's like awful and I'm not good enough at it to not rely on solo teammates which are yikes but it's fun when you can pull stuff together
Today I played and won two solo queue games in a row with the same three people. After this one of them straight up looked for my Discord account (through public servers I don't use) then asked me to join the three of them in VC for more games. Fun time, made my day tbh
Second Decav tournament! We went 3-1 in sets in a Swiss bracket before one of our teammates had to go so we just dropped out from there lmao. This team is cracked once again + reviewing one of my own replays between sets really helped!
After playing both more, I now know I like Charcoal Decav way better. Both kits give valuable protection but the fact that Splash Wall is as easy to toss out as it is makes it much more helpful in approaching without anchoring you as hard to one spot like Bubbler. A bomb will never be bad but most of the time I want to throw Suction I feel my time is better spent doing other things.
And Inkjet is...Inkjet. Shocker.
I don't know why but it's real funny going to the Members list, sorting users by reaction score, and already seeing several 2024 members' names so high up despite how old the site is
