    Good luck with Tent then! Hopefully recycled brella doesn't end up being another tragedy of a weapon like Dread or Dapple Dualies and gets to actually be turned into something that's worth using in comp.

    I think splashdown hydra was really underrated in s2
    It had a very threatening synergy with being a long range backline weapon, while going ultra aggressive with its splashdown, which itself can combo with the hydra after its 2 second charge! So much carry potential!

    Such a shame it got autobomb, that thing ruined the kit. They should bring back splahdown hydra, I think it's got a lot of potential as a qr weapon

    Sometimes I wish that the splatoon comp scene would be a bit bigger to get more cool LANs and tournaments, but then I look at some of the giant pvp games' events and go... you know what? maybe I like the smaller scale

    Like some of these tournaments are so over the top in scale and budget it's kind of nauseating

    I had a dream where I was playing recycled brella on splat zones, but the lobbies were laggy as hell, and we kept getting dcs in the first minute so I was stuck with a 2-2 series forever.

    Maybe if I ultra grinded zones with sorella tent one season? I was actually in the top 40 for a bit in drizzle 2023 before falling off (oops). I'm just messing around for now, I don't think I'm good enough (yet? Maybe) but I'd love to try it at one point

    It's surprising how nice the tenta missiles radius nerf ended up being after a while, like yeah the special wasn't a problem (yet) but the giant radius was way too hard to avoid. Now I really don't mind missiles, and they're still good, kind of crazy how that one nerf made the special way more bearable

    I'm hoping we get more of these changes to some other specials with umm... groan inducing properties

    This might be a hot take but rainmaker is like, the hypest mode for me, it's so intense I love it, every mistake can get punished HARD so you really can't mess up. No other mode even comes close in terms of hype moments

    Same way I feel about it
    It also forces you to be good with holding the Rainmaker when you start facing better players since you'll have to pick up sometimes and if you're in Overtime, it's extremely important you know how to stay alive and be aware of anyone sharking

    Rainmaker is my favorite mode when I am super caffeinated. Not that I am particularly good at it when I am super caffeinated but it is so much fun.

    I've been playing w/ dart how you'd play with a Swiss Army knife. Just a quick jab at the enemy to make sure u get 'em/involk some inconvenience

    The fact that people are actually using kraken cheese in solo queue now is the saddest thing ever

    I just think when you start getting matched with better players, that's when Kraken cheese becomes a real problem in Solo Queue. It is difficult to coordinate without vc but eventually, the players you'll get through matchmaking will know what it means when their teammate pops Kraken and spams this way. Easiest fix would be to make the power clam drop when super jumping with it but there's no fix for TC honestly.

    Not sure if this is true but I heard stationary specials like Bubbler, Wave Breaker, and Tacticooler loses time (the stand, not the drink effect) if placed on the Tower. Maybe the same debuff, if it exists, can be on kraken?

    The special duration is lowered when they're placed on Tower
    A similar idea could be used on Kraken, the only issue is that it wouldn't get rid of easily ending any overtime push but I think that's just part of TC and why there's so many specials that can do the same like Booyah Bomb or Tri-Strike
