    I gotta say, every grizzco weapon having "-but it's ink hungry" as a major weakness is giving me a newfound appreciation for the grizzco brella and blaster.

    Apparently mint decavitator and zink mini splatling have finally dethroned junior as the best bubble weapons (not to mention vroller but it's not picked for bubble).

    You know what, it's as good a time as any to say I'll be taking a long term break from splatoon soon.
    I've been feeling a bit burnt out from the game recently after grinding it so hard for two seasons straight, and I just want to take time away from it for a while. I still love it to death and I'll be playing the grandfest and big run for sure but I don't think I'll play much afterwards.

    My setup is also going to be really jank in the next few months so I think it's a good occasion. I might just take some time away from video games in general.
    I'll most likely get back to it in a few months though, I still think I could pull off a top 10, especially without any jp players to compete with, and I also want to try out comp.

    I'll still be here to check on the drama hang out though

    I'm honestly tired of hearing people say "recycled brella deals good damage" because no it doesn't. In the lobby, wow, how impressive! 90 damage per shot?? But go in an actual game and tell me how many 90s you're actually hitting. It's extremely difficult to hit, so hot take, I think it needs to reliably 2 shot, let this weapon actually deal the insane damage it's supposed to.

    My way of buffing it would be to change the damage per pellet from 15 to 19 and lowering the amount of pellets you can hit in one shot from 6 to 5 making 5 pellets deal 95 and 3 deal 57 this allows the damage to be much more consistent (and then normal brella can get 18 damage back)

    @Catloafman I don't know if I like the idea of giving it 95 damage tbh. 90 already has its bs moments against opponents without ink res, I don't think it should be better at it.

    I guess that way it's proportional to its max damage, but I hope that's not something nintendo cares about lol

    But yeah I was excited for Recycled Brella at the start of Fresh 24 but that fell D:

    Alright, just posted my first guide! I promise, once I learned this, tower control sort of clicked for me, so I hope you guys find use out of it!

    And if you have any feedback, I'd love to hear it. If anything was unclear, or if I made any mistakes. English isn't my first language either, so I have a hard time telling if I sound like an actual human lol

    I've been meaning to write a small guide for Lemuria Hub TC for a while now, since I think the map feels much better once you play it properly, but I wanted to wait for sendou.ink's map planner to upload lemuria hub maps first.

    It's been two and a half months, screw it, I'm making a general TC guide, it shouldn't take too long

    I have to confess something, I'm secretely kind of a ballpoint nouveau fan.
    Ink vac is honestly not bad as an ink tank refill if you time it properly, mines fit really well on it, and it's got this cool aggro support playstyle. Not to mention it looks awesome too. I honestly prefer it over the vanilla one.

    Now the real reason I love it because it's a mix of both tent kits hehe

    Another fun thing about this weapon is you want a lot of RSU and inkvac feels REALLY nice with RSU so its a natural combo

    Splatoon dystopian AU where the only source of food comes from shellout machine food tickets, and the poor are left starving after they drink their single spicy matcha for the day, while the rich get their bellies full... getting them more money, more tickets, in an endless cycle of misery. The deep cut splatfests only being celebrated as occasions to gamble more together, a brief respite from the everyday suffering.

    also the sheldon licenses system came about because no one could afford to actually buy weapons so sheldon essentially offers them to residents in exchange for feedback about their experience using the weapon (that leads them to getting the first star) because TBH he values that data more than money anyway
