  • Well, Nintendo certainly dodged an ink splodge today in regards to Twitter. That's from what I heard, no way I'm actually going to go to the place of the evil bird.
So, when do posts get rotated around? I have seen the same posts every time I boot up Splatoon 3 before the new update dropped. I keep seeing posts from the Big Big Run.

I remember reading that they last around 3 days somewhere, but don't quote me on that

They change constantly during the day. Only the most popular ones would stay in longer, usually. (Since it's different now, I'm not sure how they work, though.) All new posts were blocked yesterday and I believe this morning, which is why I refused to draw a new one. I looked just now and it appears new ones from fresh faces are starting to finally show up, including two completely blank ones lmao.
This first plaza post of mine in this new system is Coral introducing himself. If you see him in your plaza, I would like to see a screenshot.
8 PM est tonight will be when we are finally free from the shackles of social media. Even though it took too long, at least we won't have to worry about it in future entries.

I could already envision my first post in this new system, which is also the first post where I start introducing my OCs to more people.

Also, can we just see our own posts on a wall or something? Just so we know they aren't thrown into the void? You know, just like the good'ol Splatoon 1 days?

    Wait I completely forgot!

    The floodgates are opening guys
Now I need to know how to actually post on the plaza without social media.

An easy way for SplatTubers to make a tutorial of it and get the views, you know what I'm talking about, right?
I will get started on Bennet's SFM request today now that Big Run is over. Though unfortunately, it will have to be after the dentist appointment today.
It's over Salmonids, your attack on cephalopod families is the biggest sin you have committed, you shall go back to the watery depths from whence you came as punishment!
I got 3 Golden Scales from the Triunvate, finally. I really don't like it that every time we do get Golden Scales, it's just three. Yet another tease when we could triple any amount of Golden Scales, they only triple the one.

I got 2 during my Marooner 999 run once so more than 1 is possible, just probably stupid low.
General Anemone's reason to go to war with the Salmonids is to protect Octarian families from the wrath of the Salmonids (he also unintentionally ends up protecting Inkling families as well). This war in Inkopolis happens whenever a Big Run happens, the sounds of explosions and the like are due to the fighting that's going on in areas not set up by Grizzco.
So it seems I'm not the only one not getting any Golden Scales in this Big Run.

Tripling the amount of gold scales you get is great but the percentage of getting any to begin with is extremely low.
If they at least made it so you're guaranteed one gold scale after beating an extra wave then it wouldn't be as big of a problem.

Higher hazard levels can sometimes give you a greater chance of Golds. I JUST got 3 myself.
Oh boy, not getting even 3 Golden Scales out of the Triumvirate, why must you tease me like this?
I think the best order of defeating all three King Salmonids at once should be to finish off Horrorboris first since it launches those bombs, the Cohozuna should be the second one finished off because while it's the least threatening out of the three, it doesn't have any weak spot you can exploit. The Megalodontia is too helpful not to leave it to be finished last.

Thank you! I had this plan where 2 people go to kill off Boris, 2 people go off to kill Cohozuna, and when they are done they all team up on Joe Mawman

Although, ideally, you really should be damaging all three, the Horrorboris's bomb can be such a pain to deal with when you have a King Salmonid that's extremely tanky, and one that attacks you from below (and can splat the surrounding Salmonids for you). All the Cohozuna can do is slam its body on you and jump to attack.
So a little bit of explanation about the origin of my Octoling OCs romantic relationship: Kelp had a crush on Coral, she couldn't stop staring at him. While at the time, Coral was antisocial, only having the confidence to talk to his Octotrooper brother Clam. It was only after the mission in which Coral and Clam had to rescue Kelp that Coral himself started developing a crush on Kelp.

From then on, Coral and Kelp formed an unbreakable romantic bond. And as a positive effect, Coral became a lot less antisocial.
Just thought of a funny idea: Octarians manage to drive Salmonids out of Inkopolis while the next Splatfest happens, leading to an empty city, then DJ Octavio sneaks in before anyone comes back.
Maybe I should've used GMOD rather than SFM, but then again, Nintendo-related content on GMOD is being taken down.
Looks like I have to use the whale knit instead because the moby knit was taken down for SFM.

This is why I really wish I was good at drawing detailed art.
Darn, trying to find the Moby Knit to use for SFM and it's proving harder than it needs to.
