Recently, I'm simply starting to get annoyed, I try as much as possible to get my teammates to get to where they need to go, but they take far too long to go to the area.

What I'm referring to are the recent Turf War matches where I managed to slip by the opposing team, and every single time, despite saying "This Way!", none of my teammates super jumped to me. Needless to say, I was in a bad mood for the rest of the day. Maybe I tend to take things too seriously, but imagine that you have to fight for your own survival underground as well as being tasked to fight actual criminals in the weeks after just to be able to keep your own future safe. It's not easy being a soldier who has to fight so much just to defend his goals, that much I can say.

This isn't the only thing that made me angry, it's also the fact that for some stupid reason, members of the opposite team simply rush to my team's area, like really? Are you that impatient? I'm just rambling right now, and I needed a place to vent out my frustrations so that's why I decided to type out this blog. At least Kelp told me that she's going to help me calm down, she's just the best! See you next time!

I was sneaking back into a region called Alterna, remember when I told you about the fuzzy ooze? You know, the one thing Shark went to exterminate?

Well, the fuzzy ooze is still gone, but the Octarians affected by it are still there. They seem to have double personalities, no doubt due to the disease now known as Fuzzitus by the Octarian medical experts back where I live. It's also dangerous for me to go there alone because the New Squidbeak Splatoon is also stationed there. But every day, I sneak into Alterna, escort a Fuzzified Octarian out of there, and return to my neighborhood with them so the fuzzifying process can be reversed. Though I do wish I could escort more out of there at once, the New Squidbeak Splatoon will take notice, and I don't have enough cloaks to cover a group.

But somebody's gotta get the Octarians out of there and into somewhere safe, and my neighborhood is the safest place for Octarians to live and start new lives with blank slates, we already have medical services that reverse the process of Sanitization right down to the biology, which is greatly helped by the new Memverse app, so the original appearance is also restored too with the combined efforts, we are in the beginning stages on how we can completely restore an Octarian back to normal from Fuzzitus, but the medics there will not give up until a cure is found. Anyways, enough explanation for now. See you next blog!

Now I don't know if I haven't told you before, but Clam is a very skilled Octotrooper. And yes, skilled in combat, he's not one of those you would find in DJ Octavio's army, or one of those annoying Sanitized or Fuzzy varieties either. Every day, he goes to do his job across both Ammo Knight stores in Inkopolis to make sure the weapons are in working order, a normal day for him.

Next thing you know, there are always some Inklings who try to demand unreasonable things from him. And they threaten him if he doesn't comply. Here's the thing, he doesn't like the disrespect he gets just for doing his job. All of the Inklings who tried to fight him have failed to defeat him, he tells me all about it every day and that doesn't stop being funny.

The best part is, that the Octarian neighborhood permits him to use force against hostile groups from outside of it, so he doesn't even get in trouble afterward. After all, he's only defending himself, so you can't blame him for fighting back. Anyway, just wanted to share something funny, see you next blog!

So... a slow day here in the Octarian neighborhood, but I guess I should make this blog since I'm kind of bored. I guess I should talk about my recent trips to Alterna, yes I'm still getting fuzzy Octarians out of there one by one. But this time, I have been doing in the cover of night so it would be easier to sneak them past the New Squidbeak Splatoon.

There's just something cool about silently helping others like this, in fact, I managed to sneak a fuzzy Octocommander into the Octarian neighborhood, I knew he complied with me because he wanted a better life. So... now he's staying at the Octarian hospital so he could heal, I managed to bring in like 10 fuzzy Octarians at this point, I'm surprised no one who's part of the New Squidbeak Splatoon or any of their associates noticed yet, which is perfect.

There are still a lot of fuzzy Octarians stuck in Alterna, so I will keep sneaking them out of there. Maybe I should bring an Octo Tracker with me so I can find them more easily, see you next blog!

Okay, I need to make this blog because there's a bunch of crazy stuff happening. So first, we will get yet another food-themed Splatfest, while Ocean loves making pasta food, she is looking to try making rice-related foods. So to truly show my support for her new idea, I'm joining Team Rice. She's a great friend after all and I wouldn't want to disappoint an Octobomber who's looking to be a great chef.

Clam already told me he would support Team Rice without even hearing which team I was picking first, so it didn't matter which one I would pick. He seems he wants her to keep trying to take up even more new recipes. I have decided on Team Rice without finding out which team Clam would be rooting for, so it doesn't matter now. Kelp was beyond excited when I picked Team Rice though, she's looking forward to her sister's ever-expanding knowledge of new recipes. So after this, it was settled, I do not regret joining Team Rice at all.

Oh and about another crazy thing, I heard that there would be another Splatfest after this, but this time, it will be held out in the desert. I don't know how they will do that considering there still needs to be Splatfest battles for the event to be legit, but I guess they will figure something out. Though, I do hope the Salmonids don't try to launch an all-out attack while we're away for let's see... Four days?! I really hope Grizzco sets up a base of operations where we are going because if the Salmonids invade while we are out of Inkopolis, the Octarian neighborhood will be greatly in danger. Enough worrying for now, I will try to keep in touch with General Anemone if the Salmonids invade and figure out what to do by then. See you next blog!

Another day, another blog. The other day, Clam decided that we should try to beat a classic game called Octo Fight, and I said "Sure why not?", agreeing to play the game with him. Despite only having one limb to play video-games with, he's actually more skilled at them than me. Although that doesn't necessarily mean I'm bad at video-games, I'm actually really skilled at them.

In fact, I actually beat one of the hardest games by myself once. That was very satisfying, I also went to the arcade every now and then and managed to beat the high score on a few games there. Not only that, but it seems like that in competitive games, I managed to score a few wins against Clam. Anyways, this is all for today, I will try to find something of more substance for the next blog, see you until then!

Here we go, Kelp and I are about to fight for Team Rice, we are hoping that Team Rice wins so Ocean gets encouragement to do more experiments with her recipes. Speaking of experimenting, I will try playing with the Splatana Wiper before getting to play with my Octo Shot. I really hope I'm not rusty with my Splatana skills.

Anyway, I'm getting too excited to type this out, so this blog will be short too. But once I find something of substance, that's when I will make another blog. Let's see, I must not forget to wear the Splatfest Tee because apparently, that's the only way to play Turf Wars against others. Okay, now I'm done typing out this blog, see you next time!

RIGGED! ****! I mean, it's truly disgraceful, it's actually disgraceful. Pasta is the best. It is, it's the best. And the government won't tell you this, Frye won't tell you this, but they actually rigg the results and cheat in the games. You see, this is what they do, it's a fraud. And it's actually a disgrace. It's truly disgraceful. It's a disgrace.

There has been a few days since I posted here, so I might as well catch you guys up on what I was up to. So Clam, Kelp, and I were trying out even more rice-related recipes that Ocean made and I gotta say, the more Ocean cooks with rice, the more delicious her recipes become. That Splatfest victory really inspired Ocean to go all in on her new ideas, which is great to hear.

Anyway, another thing to catch you guys up on is the fact that Kelp seems too eager for me to meet her parents. That's a huge step up in our relationship, but I'm kind of nervous, I never met her parents before. While it was very common for me to meet new people whenever I was sent on a mission, or just little misadventures (and yes, misadventures is the correct word here, as I don't stay out there the whole day and night, only parts of the days), the fact that I will meet my girlfriend's parents is a completely new frontier to me. What I will focus on when I meet them is to try to get their approval, they would naturally be at least a little bit protective of Kelp, so I understand that.

Maybe I should tell them some of the adventures I had in the past, maybe the part where I saved Kelp from being captured by an enemy group of Octarians. If you want to know what that enemy group is, ask General Anemone about it, he knows a lot more about them than I do. Either way, I hope both of her parents can trust me in the end, so I will do my best to make that happen. I will let you know if this works, see you until then!
