I just tested out the patch in the training room and from what I can tell, while the Splattershot's range definitely got buffed, it's only slightly longer than Zap now and still nowhere near the 52. The real buff is more to its shot velocity than anything.

Coming back here to update some of my thoughts, specifically on Fizzy and Booyah.

The Fizzy nerf is much more significant than I thought it would be. The 2nd and 3rd explosion are especially close to each other.
This is still an overall good change for the sub, nerfing its painting capability by making it detonate closer without changing the trail or size of the explosions.
The compensation buff to the uncharged paint trail is also nice but I don't think it does much for vMachine. Other weapons like Luna and Tri-Slosher will have an easier time moving in with it though so that's good.
Unfortunately, this also hurts nTri's Cooler output which was already pretty low. The next patch needs to lower the pfs on nTri to 190p but I doubt the devs will do it considering how common it used to be in Turf War tournaments.

Booyah Bomb changes seem pretty good right now. I've been getting more kills with it than I usually do but that's likely to change once everyone has adjusted to the radius size increase.
I haven't been able to tell how fast my Booyah's are charging but I'll be looking back on my replays to check.
Unfortunately, I also haven't had the chance to fight a Bubble weapon to test out the damage buff but I'll edit this post once I do.

As mixed as I am on the patch (the undercover buff history is going to haunt me forever) I'm honestly pretty stoked for the splattershot pro and luna blaster players. These weapons started in the most mediocre spots you've ever seen and nintendo's been giving them some very real buffs. It's kinda cool, I'm happy for them.

After playing a bit of the update, I can confirm that the Shot buff was mostly inconsequential and didn't really change things much.

Honestly, I'd be grateful just to get 200p back at this point. I don't even play around my special anymore simply because I don't survive long enough to charge it up all the way to 210p...

It takes one less booyah (10 now) to charge, and it is confirmed that booyah does break a full hp bubble now

The Autobomb buff helps out every weapon it's on but I feel it especially helps out the vanilla Carbon Roller. It's been overshadowed for so long by the Deco kit that it really needed something to stand out. And I know the Deco is still the superior kit and burst bomb is still burst bomb, but I feel this buff might finally help narrow the gap. If the Zipcaster gets another buff, that could help even more considering how Trizooka got nerfed on 9.1.

The Autobomb only costs 10 percent more ink, but now this buff finally helps give it more of an advantage over the burst bomb. While the burst bomb does explode instantly and can potentially do 60 percent damage at most, the Autobomb now tracks from even further away than it did before and is also a potentially lethal bomb if it scores a direct hit. This gives the vanilla Carbon more utility that the Deco kit, while strong, lacks, namely the ability to flush out sharking opponents and track them for a few seconds.

I keep hearing people say that torpedo got buffed but did it really? I know that it's a buff and a nerf but to me it sounds like a net negative, I don't know if more throwing range really makes up for worse locked on torpedos.

Buffs rolled Torpedos and therefore the combos on weapons that care about them. Nerfs Torpedo spam. Doesn’t affect Torpedoes’ use as distractions. Seeing cJr. players flail around miserably in solo queue with all of their one-off Torpedoes getting shot down has significantly improved my outlook on the patch.
