Appearance and/or picture: He dresses in bright green reflective pants, a green reflective shift, and a reflective jacket. He wears a skii mask over his face when battling
Personality and/or bio: He loves riding his bicycle but wants to use it in turf war. Nobody wants a cyclist to fight from his bike so he transforms it by mounting a wooden frame on it with bumpers. He can not joust from it while shooting ink out the the H3 Nozzlenoze gun which is mounted to the handlebar of his bike. Always looking for fun and a good challenge. He was always rejected from becoming and agent but he excels at Salmon Run. He just bulldozes all of the Salmonids out of existance every time! Some runs he has collected over 100 eggs single handedly!
Gear and weapons they use would also be helpful: He uses the H3 Nozzlenose gun from his bicycle and has four ink tanks mounted on the back of his bike.
- He believes that turf war should be upgraded to allow bicycle fights.
- He believes that more speed and power would provide more areas were turf war can be held - like on the streets, for example, and basically anywhere in the city!
- He has a pet bird named Kalamari Keeth which can dive into ink and hawk it out of its mouth. This is his special attack! The bird is a pet so it doesn't talk but has a lot of personality. For example, if it doesn't like someone it will spit ink on them.
Name: Peg Leg Pete
Age: 45
Species: Inkling
Appearance: He's an older squid and acts like a pirate saying "Arr! Shiver me timbers!" and always carrying a bottle of rum. Not a drunk but it calms him down during battle. His hair is black and long and he wears a large pirate coat. He has a blue jay on his shoulder and a long beard. His legs and arms are normal. No hook or peg leg.
Personality: In battle he's quite a coward. He will stay in the shadows of his teammates unless he has his scooter with him. That is, an electric standing scooter. When fighting from this he is nearly unstoppable. His favorite weapon in the Sploosher and he will come up right behind you and splat you when you are not looking. After splatting people he always says "Ahoy mates!" to signal his team to follow him.
- He believes that being fast on the foot and not in ink is best to win a battle.
- He believes the Sploosher should be the only weapon used in battle. Other weapons fire too slowly.
- He works for Archo V Games as a graphics designer/programmer. He is behind many of the arcade games on the square.
- He hangs out with Spyke and they order gear for pirates.
- His standing scooter has a pirate flag of Calico Jack!
- His scooter has a nozzle in the back that can shoot ink sending him going very fast in the horizontal direction. Many players hate it because he is nearly impossible to catch! Sometimes he can't use his scooter in battle because Judd disqualifies it. This causes him to drink more rum and become more annoying.
- He never dives or swims in ink during battle. He uses his scooter to skim through it. Apparently he can do this with enemy ink as well.
- He's too old to become an agent, according to Cuttlefish. No one over 20. However, he will play cards and drink rum with Cuttlefish.
Name: Hong Kong John
Age: 20
Species: Inkling
Appearance: He dresses in a ninja uniform - all black with the Squidbeak Splatoon logo on it except he has never joined the Squidbeak Splatoon. He has black hair and small beady eyes. The whites of his eyes are green.
Personality: He's all about fighting hand to hand but with a twist. He can ride a bike and do martial arts from it. He has single handedly beaten up entire bicycle gangs just to test his string and absolutely dominates ink battles such as ranked and turf. When in ink battles he only uses his bike. He carries not weapons at all because his kicks, punches, and bicycle jousts can splat opponents on contact. He is one of the most feared opponents in battle and so much so that Judd only lets him fight at Splatfest. When not battling he's always looking for a challenge and will go after the strongest members of bicycle gangs. One such rival that he loves to spar with is Hillbilly Jim who can wield a pitchfork from his bicycle. More on him later.
Weapons: none! Just hands, feet, and bicycle. He can turn his front wheel fast to knock down opponents. He is able to preform a roundhouse kick while standing on the bike.
- He believes in no weapons and only fighting hand to hand.
- He prefers to fight bicycle gangs but will engage in turf war or rank battle when he can just for practice.
- He's a close friend with Crusty Sean and has a seemingly unlimited supply of tickets!
- He was once featured as a guest in the Squid Sisters studio and preformed a roundhouse kick to one of the stage lights while jumping from his bike.
- Judd hates him. Judd has repeated said that Hong Kong John ruined turf war.
- At almost every ranked battle he attends as a spectator. He will study the stealth moves of the players then try to replicate them during fights with bicycle gangs.
Name: Hillbilly Jim
Age: 25
Species: Inkling
Appearance: He dresses in overalls with no shirt and wears a fly fishing hat. A true hillbilly of Calamari county he was once a wrestler who went by the same name. After Bicycle Mike sold him his old bicycle Hillbilly Jim grabbed a pitchfork and began practicing a new form a fighting. He is apparently the only inkling who can wield a pitchfork from the bicycle. He grows a long beard and hair to match. He over 6ft and towers over many inklings.
Personality: Normally very docile and calm the only way to get him angry is to shave the back of his head when he's not looking. He goes into rage and jump on his bicycle with a pitchfork. You'd better watch out or get splatted!
- Hillbilly Jim normally eats at Crusty Sean's food truck, though, he'll bring the food to Sean to cook. This consists of using his pitchfork to spearfish (all done on the bike) and then dipping the seafood in one of Sean's flyers. Sometimes he'll also eat at coffee shops.
- He is not allowed to fight in ink battles. Because he fights only from a bike and with a pitchfork he is disqualified. Judd said he could be far too dangerous with that think and his appearance does not really fit city life as many of the battles are shown on TV.
- He is an ace at Salmon run. His performance exceeds Bicycle Mike! However, he rarely collects the eggs and simply continues fighting uninterrupted. His crew mates normally let him fight while they attempt to gather the eggs. Some Salmonids will even turn back when they see him. The Scrapper, for example, seems to have an innate fear of Hillbilly Jim.
- While he may seem to be a brute he is actually quite a gentleman. He once held the door open for the Squid Sisters, Marina, and Pearl at Splatfest and even offered to give Cuttlefish a ride to the store on his bike.
- His arch enemy is Hong Kong John and the two like to go at it any time they can. According to Judd this rivalry is not for revenge but simply to test out their skills. The two are quite strong and they're simply building their fighting skills. "We need to see that more in ink battles.", says Judd.
- Hillbilly Jim is seen at all Splatfests. Although he does not battle due to regulations he will do his pitchfork dance. Once on the plaza he performed the dance which consisted of him riding the bike while grinding his pitchfork on the ground making sparks. Other inklings thought it was cool.
- Although not well known Hillbilly Jim was supposed to be the next pop idol after the Squid Sisters. "Not only can he dance but he can sing as well!", says Callie of the Squid Sisters. He can play banjo quite well and do it while riding the bike. His gig was supposed to be riding the bike up and down the stage playing the banjo and singing songs about Calamari County and fly fishing. The pop idol agency loved it and almost signed him on until Hong Kong John showed up to Splatfest. It was that fated night when Hillbilly Jim was making a debut on the Plaza that Hong Kong John broke into Annie's shop and grabbed an electric shaver. The guy even managed to get behind the stage and shave the back of Hillbilly Jim's head which caused him to fly into rage. He went on to fight Hong Hong John but then accidentally jammed his pitchfork into one of the large speakers on the Plaza causing it to short. A small fire ensued and a large ink brawl ensued on the Plaza. "We sure as hell don't want that happening again. We'll stick to female pop idols from now on.", says a spokesperson of the Inkopolis idol agency.
Name: Frankus
Age: 20
Species: Inkling
Appearance: He has green hair and wears a lime green jacket over a white shirt and black shorts. Like Bicycle Mike he rides a bike. The color of it is lime green and on the handlebar he wields a hedge gun. His bicycle helmet, shoes, and bike glow green when in the dark. The bike has a large flywheel over the rear wheel and both wheels are equipped with fins to allow fast swimming even through enemy ink! His bike sports a rain canopy over it making him very difficult to hit unless he is hit from the side. Hair is black and face is clean shaven.
Personality: His whole life revolves around his bicycle but he is always willing to give it up for a better bicycle. He's of good temperament but when it comes to fighting he is fearless. Frankus is well renowned for being able to catch enemy fire in his hedge gun and then fire it back. Though the ink color remains the same it can startle the opponent which allows Frankus to use his bulldozer attack. Frankus is also an inventor and has invented the Trail Hog - a bike that can be used for fighting. He appears to be spawning a new culture centered around street battles.
- Frankus invented the Trail Hog on the Plaza when he was tired of wiping out after hitting street poles. He placed a bumper on front and back of his bike. The two added racks allowed more ink tanks to be carried on the bike although Frankus does not carry ink.
- Frankus has experimented with other liquids than ink suck as BBQ sauce which is very sticky.
- He does not fight in turf war. His bike is not allowed. When he went to apply for turf war battles he was turned down by Judd.
- Frankus's bike has a flywheel and fins on the wheel which means it moves very fast through any liquid - even enemy ink. This may be why he was disqualified.
- He fights on the street challenging other bicycle gangs much like Hong Kong John but he has never fought Hong Kong John on Hillbilly Jim.
- Frankus is an ace at Salmon Run. He uses a technique called the Ticker Tack Attack where he will shoot a hedge apple out of his hedge gun and make it bounce off of walls to surprise attack his opponents.
- Frankus laid out the first rules of street battles in that they can have as many fighters as possible in two teams. You do not get splatted in these. Just get pushed off the road or stuck and you lose. Technically running away would be a loss too.
- Like other Trail Hog cyclists Frankus fights to improve his technique.
- The Ticker Tack Attack has another variation used with ink. Frankus will shoot lines of ink past opponents and rush through them fast forming a circle around the opponent. At any point he will execute his bulldozer attack.
- Frankus's bike is nearly uninkable even with the most powerful weapons.
- When not fighting street battles he likes to work on his bike adding more to it and exploring cities.
- He was not accepted as an agent into the Squidbeak Splatoon. He got angry and basically rode his bike inside of Tentekeel Lookout. You can guess what happened to that place after that.
- At Splatfest he will not fight but he will perform is bicycle dance. Many consider it a treat because he will shoot fireworks out of his hedge gun. "Sometimes he gets a little carried away at Splatfest.", says Marie of the Squid Sisters.
- He actually lives in a house which is a treat for an inkling in Inkopolis. It is small - just one room with a bed, table, bike rack, refigerator, and a TV. The backyard is surrounded by tall bamboo and has a circular dirt trail where he rides his bike. His neighbors cut his grass because he doesn't.
- Frankus works for Archo V Games and currently they are programming something new. His manager allows him to ride his bike inside the office. "Just keep the BBQ sauce away from him. He goes a little crazy when he drinks that.", says Frankus's manager.
- Frankus will not drink alcohol so he drinks BBQ sauce instead to get a buzz but what type of buzz can you get from that?
- He is currently working on a GPS for his bike that will run on his phone. It will help him locate all cyclists in the city. But what, if anything, motivates him to do this?
- He once gave Spyke a knuckle sandwich after Skype sold him a stolen bike part from his own bike.
- Frankus can be a jerk sometimes and will ride his bike inside buildings and even pop idol studios. He can also grind his bike on rails and people always want to get his autograph because of this.
- Frankus eats but doing a ride by grab. He's ride very close to an inkling and grab their food. He'll then eat and throw the trash to the side. The problem is that he's so fast that people are not sure if he's the one grabbing the food.
