I'll keep that in mind! :) Re-rolling and slot-adding is great actually, the more wins in a higher rank=more money so it took me a long time to afford some of the stuff I can now. Some brands have higher likelihoods of getting certain abilities in sub-slots, which is really handy to know since inkpedia has the details! Getting the right abilities takes a lot of time but it's worth it in the end, I swear. ;) Anyway though, as far as slots go, there's always upcoming Saturday's splatfest to get a whole bunch of sea snails. I'm guessing you'll be using the refurb mini for the splatfest too?

Also, as far as the teams you get not pushing the objective, have you ever formed a squad? Hopefully acquainted teammates will know what to do.
I've added slots to most of my gear in my main account...but haven't rerolled anything. The odds are so low of a good reroll I try to stick with what it has and work with it from there :) My alts though just have no snails and money :(

I'll probably switch around weapons for splatfest. Refurb will be a mainstay. I might try out Soda Slosher for part of it too. Maybe hydra with the buff. I probably will leave chargers behind, but maybe I'll mess with dynamos (they were so meta last splatfest!) I can't get myself to go ultra meta with splash-o-matic....they're EVERYWHERE now....but I just can't do it!

Oh, I definitely squad with a few people. Mostly twin squads (quads become a mess against organized full clans) but I keep trying to do it in solo too due to all the negative connotation of getting carried by squads. But then when I go back to solo and see how truly awful it plays, "getting carried" seems good :P Solo is quite simply a broken game, no way around it. Of course these days when I squad I generally play on one of my S accounts which is a different problem: I suck against full sets of S+'s :)

It just frustrates me that not only is solo BAD but it's simply become WORSE!

*pushes her Inkbrush Nouveau behind her* I dunno. o3o

That's why I like the Nouveau though. >w< It's so unused that everyone approaches me thinking I'm a harmless little Inkbrush so I can use a Bubbler in their face. It's really quite amusing lol. :p My friends hate me using the Inkbrush Nouveau because I'm nearly untouchable with it. :p
LOL!

Haha, I can't admonish you for that.....in fact I resemble that behavior (*cough*
*cough*) ;)

But it's funny to think of nouveau as untouchable. I go like 1/18 with that thing :P ) The Permanent I can either go 3/16 or 16/12 for seemingly no reason or different play skill depending on the map. It's either a dominating force, or useless....and I haven't distinguished what makes the difference. Lag maybe.

I may or may not have a slight obsession with Special Charge and Special Duration. :p I've also gotten used to using the Inkbrush's speed to dodge or run from things.... Dodging and running is what I do best in the game lol. xD

LOL! I'm too fixed on my speed and ink specials (and dmg at times) to ever spend much on specials skills. I should!

Haha, yeah running with inkbrush is one thing I love about it. I have to get out of the habit of trying to do rundowns with it :P It's just that I'm so often paired with horrible horrible teammates when I play (at least in solo alts) or amazing super opponents when I play squads on my main account, that I get stuck in the "I have to splat ALL the squids!" mentality :P With inkbrush that can really backfire :P

I run too much Swim Speed on my sets. I wish I could exploit my Run Speed. N-Zap w/ Splash Wall / Bubbler please!

I’m fully expecting one or two new Nozzlenoses, and maybe a new Sploosh? I’d love new rollers but I doubt they’d pick those as they are popular already. Some other "odd" weapons like Rapid Blasters (Pro or not) as well as Range Blasters might get a new kit. As for what those new kits would be, beats me.

Wait, what? Is it coming soon already? I am still not finished hyping about the berryshot and the new inkbrush...

Aaanyway, here are some sets that I would like to see:

:wst_shot_quicklong00: with a :disruptor: or :pointsensor: and a :bubbler:/:kraken:. That would be like the most annoying thing ever :p

:wst_charge_normal01: with :inkmine: and :echolocator:. Protect yourself from flanks with ink mines while supporting camping with your sniper.

:wst_shot_first00: with :inkmine: and Ink mine rush. I just really want a buff to the duration of ink mines so that ink mine rush could be a thing.

Honestly hoping for a new dual squelcher with a dark blue coloring. Don't really care about set, just really want a blue one. Also sloshing machine with killer wail. The problem with volume one was that every weapon got a bomb. i'm hoping for more beakons, sprinklers and disruptors since those are really good subs if used correctly. I was hoping the new mini would have killer wail but nope, just had to get another splattershot copy. Thanks devs -_-

Some time in july i think. They said summer and i doubt they'll release it a month after the first volume.

The H3 doesn't have Disruptors, does it? I imagine those could work a treat, putting serious pressure on opponents as they become far easier to one-shot. Throwing a Sub followed by a shot isn't equivalent to using two shots to attack, as A) I think it's faster for this weapon to use each, and B) Disruptors can be used from much safer spots, whether across the map or even behind a thin wall (I love throwing them at a solid wall and hearing the 'success' sound effect as some enemy on the opposite side becomes semi-immobile).

... would those also be good for a new SM? I think that either those or Burst Bombs would be wonderful for its set. It's so slow as it is that it can really benefit from either the effective increased range of BBs or from the ability to bring opponents down to a comfortable speed. Alternately or additionally, I'd love increased shot speed, similar to what the N-Zaps got in 2.7. Even if SMs doesn't follow standard Sloshers with increased attack speed (although they should), they'd at least be much more able to aim for opponents if their shots didn't take so long in the air.

By going by the trend of underused weapons, the H-3, Sloshing Machine, and Rapid Blaster (Pro) are all underrated weapons that would enjoy a new set. Possibly :burstbomb:/:bubbler: (Special Loss: Light) on H-3 for increased splat power, :sprinkler:/:echolocator: (Special Loss: Light) on Sloshing Machine for support and TW viability, and :pointsensor:/ :kraken: (Special Loss: Medium) on Rapid Blaster for better close range offense. Through making new semi popular weapons, I would make a :squidbeacon:/:echolocator: Blaster (no blasters in first Sheldon's Picks, no blasters with either Beakons or Echo), a :splashwall:/:bubbler:N-Zap (Defencive/support set), a:squidbeacon:/ :inkzooka: (Special Loss: Medium) Heavy Splatling (no beakons on Splatlings yet, inkzooka is good for splats), and a :seeker:/:bombrushseeker: (Special Loss: Light) .96 Gal (seeker rush+range), and a :disruptor:/ :inkstrike: Carbon Roller (disruptor roller, Inkstrike isn't too OP)

Generally, I mostly just want more sub weapon variety in this new one.

Another Corocoro page has surfaced. According to the redditor, a Splat Roller with Splash Wall and Inkzooka confirmed, and two peices of gear (a backwards cap with Damage Up and a hoodie that bears Cold-Blooded) all bearing the magazine's logo. Presumably there's gonna be another batch of gear aside from those.

EDIT: Here's the image, so you don't have to go to the reddit thread.

Zekko confirmed for collaboration with CoroCoro.

But yeah, looking forward to the new roller and gear!

Here are my predictions/hopes for volume 2! I'm assuming 8 weapons again with atleast one from each of the 5 weapon classes! I think we'll atleast get a few weapons unveiled for the anniversary so best to predict now!

Dual Squelcher: :disruptor: + :kraken:
(I feel like the DS is too fair compared to other shooters. A unique kit should help it stand out.)

Areospray: :splatbomb: + :bombrush:
(Popular weapon though not OP, so giving it a great kit should be good.)

H-3 Nozzlenose: :splashwall: + :bubbler:
(Probably the single least used weapon in the game. Needs amazing unique kit to fix that.)

Rapid Blaster: :burstbomb: + :echolocator:
(Though not as underestimated as it once was, it's still a rare sight. No blaster has Burst Bombs or Echolocater, let's fix that!)

Carbon Roller: :pointsensor: + :killerwail:
(Very popular and already strong weapon so just a fair but still unique kit for it.)

E-Liter 3K: :sprinkler: + :inkstrike:
(Very popular and already strong, yet this kit still helps the E-Liter's poor inkspread.)

Hydra Splatling: :squidbeacon: + :inkzooka:
(Just a solid and unique set. Inkzooka should really help it's generally unfavourable Charger match-up.)

Sloshing Machine: :burstbomb: + :bubbler:
(Another of the game's most underwhelming weapons, so giving it a great unique set should get people to try it.)

While the affiliation of the "Corocoro" roller and the second volume of Sheldon's Picks is unclear, if it is a part of the volume, we can assume that like volume 1, the sets tend to favor a type of playstyle (volume 1 seemed to favor more aggressive weapons), then the second volume is most likely going to have support-oriented sets.

I'd say they're seperate, it has a different logo from Sheldon's pick weapons.
