Mainly its ink output and range, especially in Splat Zones where it can take a perch or safely hide then cap a zone within four volleys. And that it tsunamis across turf with its output and sprinkler, which also makes it a Bubble Blower factory.
They're just few brief (imo minor) complaints but nothing near the amount of complaints the Bloblobber is already receiving in less than a day. lol

I'm saying matches in Splatoon play out, first and foremost as a result of people's skill/moment-to-moment handling/reaction speed, etc., while (for example) a turn-based RPG, you can only go so far in deciding things yourself and things are more predictable from a stats/chance/mechanics standpoint. If you get my drift.
And yeah, it's good to know how a game works, and testing things out in the range and knowing how abilities work on a deeper level is very useful in the case of Splatoon. But I think, ultimately, if you're a "casual" like me, knowing about things like in-depth matchup information, tier lists and whatever's going on in more serious, competitive corners will not lead to any real useful information and will probably only make me see things that aren't there. If something is regarded great or terrible literally has no impact on my experience of the game, and it's more fun to experience the game through my own eyes I think. But that's just me, and most people will probably not agree, but I don't care.

Pretty much my main motivation to play a lot of Splatoon this month as well, haha.
I'm glad Ancho-V is back now. I didn't get to play on it much in the first game, as I basically stopped playing the first game not long after it was introduced.
The Light Tetra Dualies are kinda memey but I absolutely love them! I've been looking forward to this set for quite a long time.
It might also be a little unfair to other people, as having a dodge roll that can still shoot AND having Autobombs up the wazoo might give people flashbacks to the Inner Agent 3 fight.
Oh thank god, I'm not the only one who sees that the bloblobber needs to be nerfed. Potential one shot...yeah no I'll pass.
This really needs some sort of rework nerf something on this thing. It should not have the range + firing speed it has. Like what were the devs thinking? This is a nightmare.
Nautilus will take some getting used to but could become a sleeper hit. It's kit, charge hold, accuracy, maintained range at any charge, charge speed gives you options to move back and forth between foward and mid. Like a hybrid Heavy and Mini. I want to use it more!
As someone who plays Zimi a lot, I'm not sure how I feel about the Nautilus.
The stored charge gimmick has potential, but the inherent problem is that full charge on a Splatling isn't nearly as important as it is on a Charger, especially on a short ranged Splatling. After all, most Splatlings don't even need half of the first ring to kill. Why would you sacrifice other stats just for something that can be mitigated with better positioning/aim? (Yeah, it's undoubtly better at splating people who are on a ledge, but I'm trying to make a point here. :p)
It's not terrible by any means, but I can't help but personally feel but feel like it's a crutch for bad Splatling players you'd really have to exploit the stored charge a lot to get around that inferior charge time and movement speed. (tbf, the extra range is kinda nice, though the accuracy while jumping is kinda lel.)
Plus it's ugly as sin - That's something no amount of buffs can ever fix.

But like other splatlings you don't always need a full charge. And like the Ballpoint you can stop shooting at any time. Then it also has the Gootuber's ability of continuously charging while dipping in and out of ink.
I've felt it's a splatling geared more towards swimming than running, and given time can prove to be both a solid support and aggressive splatling once splatling vets are use to it. Especially when turf is in their favor.

^^^ This thing is crazy - It definitely shouldn't be a OHKO. Even the Explosher is that strong, and that thing is SO much slower.

Yeah looking back at my post, I feel like I was kinda harsh on it. It definitely has its strengths and I love its unique kit for a Splatling. But to be honest, I still wouldn't use it over the Mini.
It's rounded. Doesn't make it a lump. The raw metal gives it a functional steampunk-ish look (edit: and the ink showing up like power lines on a futuristic gun should be noted). It doesn't totally fit Splatoon's vibe but there's a good variety in clothing, it's not all loud and flashy.
I, personally, wouldn't call this weapon strange. I'd go more on calling it super annoying. Specially when there's 2 or more on a team. That last statement could go for multiple weapons, but that definitely applies here.
It is very OP. I can't count already how many times I've splatted people with blobs I have already forgot about. The range NEEDS to be nerfed (But I hope it doesn't get nerfed ;n;)
You can't say it's that OP this early on. The results I've seen its users get in my matches just don't line up with that. They're better than average but typically not the best. People need to get more used to the weapon - on both sides. Then maybe its players will start to actually shine.

From my experience brella doesn't really counter it much. It's kinda even. Slosher's in general are pretty good at fighting the splat brella and a smart bobbler would know how to aim at one and the bubble's do quite a bit of damage to the shield. Granted most one's i've fought weren't all that good at it so i did hold my own pretty well.

Yes, I'm aware of the ink colouring on the weapon, but I didn't mention it because I don't think it adds enough to make it look good. (I have a similar problem with the Aerosprays, but at least they were based on something that was metalic in the first place.)
Regardless, I'm willing to just agree to disagree.
I'd say it depends on how you personally define OP. I mean if you define it as perfect in everyway, then no it isn't - but it's hard to argue that it isn't very strong in multiple situations.
EDIT: Spelling is hard.
I personally feel like they should make it more "specialised" - just make one or two changes to make it more unique and balanced while also keeping it relatively strong.
