i hate Custom Explosher. they have a crap ton of range and their ult makes it nigh impossible to get close to them without dying.

I would say range blaster, or any blaster, because I play tower a lot and there isn't a great way to dodge a range blaster while riding the tower without getting off.

E-liter. You will never convince me a charger with that much range isn't a mistake.
It used to be worse back in Splatoon 1, with the 3K model. What we have now is definitely more balanced by comparison.
No matter what, we're going to have one weapon with more range than everything else. E-liter is definitely not perfect, but I can think of at least a few other backline weapons that would be more unbearable if E-liter didn't keep them in check.
Actually, it's just Splat Charger, now that I think about it.
I really don't like fighting Charger. At least E-liter has a sizable delay between shots and no lethal bomb.
I only truly despise either of them if it's the scoped version, though.

Okay, recently I really started hating going against the Sploosh and basically any weapon that goes to invade my team's spawn area.

Sqweezer, Splattershot, tri slosher, most brushes, 52.gal and N Zap. I just really have a hard time going against these weapons and I want to learn how to counter them


I have a problem with shooters because they’re so easy to use. you just point at someone and then less than half a second later they’re dead.

Same. They get in your face using ninja squid and their builds are atrocious.
I find it especially annoying when I'm just playing to get two stars on all of the new weapons introduced in the update as well as filling in the slots of the gear from the catalog.

Stamper's main weaknesses are its close range time to splat (non-melee) and charged slash projectile speed. Its attacks at its maximum range can be avoided with good movement, and close- or mid-range weapons can out-damage it. I'm going to be honest, if you want to fight Stamper effectively as a Wall weapon, don't use your wall. You need to get up close to it, and quickly.

Stamper becomes a lot easier to fight once you know how to fight it, it's mostly a matter of thinking on your feet and staying aware of where the weapon is looking. Hope this helps.

do you mind if I make a thread for this? If you have advice on this, I think a lot of people could benefit from it, myself included.

As for what I personally don't like fighting, I thought I posted here before, but apparently not. range is at the absolute top. Custom range probably will be even more so once I actually have time to play the video game again. S-blast needs to either have line of sight or be up close. Against a good range blaster, I can't get up close easily because they'll back up and indirect me, and if I miss the direct they'll indirect me and then again when I try to run away. I know a lot of this is because I just tend to run at them by myself instead of, like, working with my team, but until I fix that range is still going to feel terrible to fight.

Coming to this after playing a bit more since I didn't have an answer in mind, it's squeezer.
Specifically whenever I'm using any shooter or dualies that don't outrange it, crazy *** range, it fights just as well up close, it has very decent mobility, it's just a busted *** weapon whenever you are against someone really good on it, I hate having to fight so hard to get close to them only to have to win a more or less equal fight even at that range.

It's just sometimes though, I can struggle against some other weapons too like Octobrush or Tri-slosher, and I do get frustrated but I think as long as I'm locked in I have a good time against all weapons.
Except good E-liters, forgot about that oops.

It depends on what weapon I am using…

OCTOBRUSH - I hate dealing with this if my weapon is anything with less range than Spalttershot Pro. They have so few weaknesses against other short-range weapons.

RANGE BLASTER - I hate dealing with this if my weapons is Splattershot Pro range or longer, particularly in ledge-heavy stages. It’s particularly annoying when the RB player is laggy, because I find myself exploding after I have moved waaayy out of range of their aoe.

As a Hydra player myself. I offer my condolences. That being said, I absolutely despise E-Liters. It's basically every other Backline's kryptonite.
