Hey! Since I probably have the most data about this and since I've already filled out most of this out of curiosity, I figured I'd share the info about every particularly active Squidboards user I know of and their main weapons. If I've missed anything then please let me know but I tried getting as many people as I could.

So a few things to look at here, some obvious some not as much...

• Shooters have historically been the most widely-played class and we see a similar trend here. Over 20% of all people currently listed play at least one Shooter. Funnily enough, excluding secondaries, there's exactly one Shooter that gets mentioned twice on this list and that's the Sploosh-o-Matic of all things.
• Dualies actually are not too far behind Shooters, only one person behind at the start but more have since popped up. Dualie Squelchers happens to be the most widely-played weapon on this list, tying Range Blaster.
• The weapon class where most people have a secondary is Blasters, although my info on what some people's mains and secondaries are specifically might be a little bit off. Take that especially with a grain of salt.
• I think Stringers are notable for having an odd number of secondaries when compared to mains.
• Splatanas are the class with the most users that doesn't currently have anyone under secondaries.
• Brushes and Chargers are the least common here. Only one person on each of those and the Brush is a secondary. Kind of a strange result when Brushes are very common in lower levels of competitive play and Snipewriter is very common in higher levels.
• It's also strange to me just how little Rollers are being represented here since I feel that class is more common than this list would imply to a community outsider. Just goes to show what a small sample size can do.

Love that every Splatling main here plays a Splatling with some kinda full charge gimmick. We know what we want and it's extra firepower.
Also I'm pretty sure reelroll is a Hydra main. But it's been a hot minute since I've seen them around so I could be wrong.

I'm not 100% sure if I would consider myself a stamper secondary yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I keep playing it on and off.

It's the only weapon besides s-blast that has clicked so well with me even after the novelty wears off. It has many important strengths and weaknesses swapped compared to s-blast, while still playing at around the same ranges, so it's super refreshing to switch between them.

Milli (Splat Dualies, other weapons include Dualie Squelchers)

I dunno if that's me with an extra L but I also use a lot of sloshing machine! Machine and splat dualies are the only 2 weapons I have 5 stars on, just getting the 5 stars on dualies.
Squelchers are more of a recent weapon I played, only having 3 stars on, but it's a really fun one, only got unlucky with matchmaking making me lose a lot with them...
(Also sloshers are my most played class I think, having both machines and slosher with 4 stars compared to any other class)

You hit the mark with heavy edit! (though I suppose I've made it even more obvious as of late lol) I haven't really used or talked about them much recently but I will add that I've also played a lot of ballpoint, douser dualies, and splat roller (my S2 main!)

To be real for a second I started playing more dapples noueavu more recently again. Reefslider wasn't as bad as I made it out to be on this weapon.

Played dapples for quite a while starting back in splatoon 2. one day got frustrated with reefslider on napples and dropped it only to pick it back up like 6-7 months later and not hate reef slider as much.

I commend you on doing your best to describe my poly-ammo-rous situation with a lack of a consistent main. You have my favorite picks pretty spot on in the secondary department. For the record, I am still currently playing support rollers. Though Dualie Squelchers are looking pretty appealing right now.
