Just got Kickstarter update email from Playtonic on the game, and they have confirmed that there will in fact be a day 1 DRM-free version for Windows, Linux, and Mac available from GOG.com. This is fantastic news, so I might increase my pledge again.

Why does this remind me of Banjo-Kazooie?
I mean, I'm all for more platformers, and this looks beautiful, but this shot just screams Banjo-Kazooie to me and I find that a bit odd.
Also, SO PRETTY!
I mean, there's probably no way this'll look this amazing on the Wii U (my laptop can't run games very well, so I'll have to get it for Wii U), but still, it's beautiful.

That is like maybe part of the hub world, because what seems to be on the page of the book is that level we've seen before, and probably the entry to get there (much similar like Super Mario 64 and, of course, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie).

I really hope to see more of this soon. This is starting to get more anticipating as ever.
