    I failed at a rank up battle once again. I also hit my head on the wall out of frustration again. Now my head hurts. I am unbelievably angry at the Splatoon gods right now. I keep on getting sucky teammates. Or maybe it was me that was messing up. I won't blame it on anyone for now. I really just wanted you to feel my pain and suffering with me. :(

    If you're getting nervous or upset when things go wrong you might not be playing at your best. Try to relax if you can - you made it to the rank up battle for good reason, and there's nothing stopping you from making it there again if you lose.

    to my memory, two things:
    1) it was around that time that a popular (at the time) splatoon content creator promoted the site
    2) it was also in response to some stuff going on on twitter at the time, which made a lot of people want somewhere to talk that wasn't a website that encouraged hostility by design

    The countdown is almost over 😭 I WOKE UP AND ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS FRIGGIN' SCHOOL. And I have to drive myself there now because my parents left me home alone for 2 weeks. 😭 I BARELY KNOW HOW TO DRIVE. If I don't get on sooner than later, just know I probably got into a severe car wreck and am in the hospital.

    My cat just walked into my room and I thought he was a ghost. My heart stopped when he jumped up onto the bed, too. (help me) When I am old and senile, I will have a cat and one day it will do that to me and I will have a heart attack. So maybe when I'm older, I shouldn't get a cat TvT

    if you ever find yourself afraid of ghosts, it helps to remember most of them are Just Some Guy, and likely don't intentionally want to spook ya. It's possible that being dead just means they forget what it's like to be spooked.

    Failing that, burn some incense and open the windows, and politely ask the ghost to leave

    Hey! I think it worked. I suddenly feel calmer... I like my raspberry scented incense <3 and I forgot all about them, so that was nice. but what was even nicer is that the ghost guy is gone :D

    @slopsuit remember when I said that I have never been A rank? Well, I have a chance. I took what you said to heart and am now in a rank-up battle cycle. I have had some terrible luck with my teammates though, so we'll see what happens. 😭 😭

    Haha, it happens! I’m happy you took it to heart tho, and you got really close! Keep trying and be careful not to burn out. Take lots of breaks!
    When I feel stuck I like to go back and review my replays, especially games I’ve lost. I take note of things I couldve done differently, like if I couldve observed enemies longer, or if I couldve taken a better route. That usually helps me most. Good luck!

    OMORI good. I watched a playthrough knowing I wouldn't be able to play it for myself. There's a LOT of drama surrounding the dev team that I wouldn't touch with a ten-foot pole, though. Your call, with that in mind, on whether you want to buy it.

    I play the cello, which is a pretty nice instrument, but over the course of 6 long years it gets kinda, well, boring. I only like to play it when I'm learning an new song. The only reason I'm still playing is because I'm trying to get a scholarship, and my friends won't let me leave because they don't want to be alone.

    Oh my goodness! My voice is pretty deep, and when I laugh it's so squeaky and it goes back and forth between deep and high. 😭 And I know sooooo many people who snort laugh, which makes me laugh, then everyone goes silent and they look at me.... I used to wonder why, but then everyone told me, and I laughed. :D
