Okay, I have to be truthful. I usually don't share this online because I don't want to come across as self-centered or attention-seeking. But this is the thread I feel the most comfortable about admitting this.

The plaza posts in Splatoon 3, at times, make me feel lonely. Has anyone else felt that way before? The only reason I'm sharing this is to let go of what I have bottled up. I am definitely NOT saying this for attention, to be perfectly clear.

I actually changed my Fest region recently and man the art you see is incredible. I'll try to post some pictures here. It really makes me believe that Eastern players play the game while Western players use the game. So I don't know what's on the Plaza Posts in US Fest region nowadays (though I can imagine what they might be with it being June), but try switching your region if you want to see some wholesome and amazing art.

Thanks, I'll try switching my Fest region from time to time to see better posts. I just prefer not to see that lingering Twitter toxicity that somehow persisted after the integration was over.

However, I do take comfort in my own SFMs, so there's that to also help. It's usually a mix of wholesome, action-packed, or sometimes scary (the good kind of scary), allowing for some sort of escape.

The nice thing about not having a Fest coming up is I can change my region any time I want so I wanna look at other regions (Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, etc.)

I haven't been here for a long time but how many new members have come makes me super happy.

And also, I also changed my fest region because I couldn't bear the plaza posts anymore. I felt really uncomfortable. But now everythings bonita.

Also, I'm really excited for the grand festival. ★

Yeah, Twitter/X integration made the plaza posts kind of annoying, but now that the integration is over, they have gotten better.

Oh yeah, decoupling Twitter/X from the plaza made it SO much better. I actually love looking at all the posts now. Because anyone can post and have it seen, we get more varied and funny posts like the Miiverse days.

I changed my Fest region to Japan and since then I saw...art. I loved what I saw. Cutest picture of Smallfry with food, a picture of HEdit Nouveau, and so much more.

If you change to Japan can you participate in their splatfests?
I actually was in Japan during Summer Fest and I got to play with JP Players. I won't know whether I'll be matched with JP players back home until the Rice/Bread/Pasta Fest.

Love seeing religious posts in the plaza. And I specifically love seeing the ones saying "Jesus loves you.", makes me feel not as lonely to see more Christians posting in Splatoon 3.

Ok but most of y'all are Americans and live in one of the most religious and Christian countries in the world where politicians literally write their own Bibles in order to appeal to Christian voters so idk why you think you have to look far.

mine is non-denominational
Non-denominational too. However to be more specific the kind that came out of the Stone-Campbell movement. So technically more 'adenomimational'

I have been a Roman Catholic my whole life. Though I did not actively practice for a long time after middle school, I came back to my faith a few years after college and have been so happy since then!
