Coral and Kelp stand up and started remembering the day that they started dating, which is also the first day in which they kissed for the first time.

Coral: Remember when we met?

Kelp: Yes, we were in my uncle's army trying to fight through DJ Octavio's army to survive.

Coral: And we only had our siblings beside us in our missions.

Kelp: Then we found each other.

Coral: I remember, do you want to see that first kiss being recreated?

Kelp: Yes, all of it.

Coral puts both of his hands on Kelp's waist, then starts a long kiss on her lips. In response, Kelp puts both of her hands on Coral's shoulders, enjoying the kiss made by him. The kiss is made identical to when they first did it back when they were in Octo Valley, this resulted in them remembering all of the great moments together that happened after it.

Hope goes to the neighborhood and deposits her earnings from the Salmon Run shift into the fund box, and the Octocopters bring as much of it as they can to General Anemone's office, then run back to the fund box and repeat the process until there doesn't seem to be any cash in said fund box anymore.

After depositing her money and thanking the Octocopters, Hope exits the neighborhood and Super Jumps back to where Evelynn and Sean are. "望みはこれまであなたに会ったことがありません。なたは誰ですか?" [Hope never seen you before. Who you?] asks Hope soon after seeing them. Sure, she's seen Evelynn at that Salmon Run shift, but Hope hasn't seen the Otterling or that species in Inkopolis Square before. She doesn't mean to be rude at all. She's genuinely curious about who they are.

Coral and Kelp stop kissing but don't let go of each other.

Evelynn nearly jumps out of her skin- and out of Sean’s lap- in shock, as an Octoling whom she recognized from the Salmon Run shift suddenly appears.

Evelynn blinks. “O-Oh, s-sorry,” she says, keeping her eyes down as she was trained at birth to do when talking to someone new, or the same age or older, or of equal or high status. Meanwhile in the background, Sean awkwardly, clumsily pulls on the outfit Evelynn has provided for him. Evelynn grapples for a proper response. “I’m Evelynn and this is my… uh… friend… Sean.”
(it’d be so funny if Mirage and Hope took that to mean Evelynn and Sean are boyfriend and girlfriend since I’m planning on shipping them anyway)

Coral and Kelp stare at each other's eyes again, remembering that prom night that General Anemone hosted when they were only halfway done with their mission to escape Octo Valley, as if their minds since, they danced to the melody within their memories. Clam and Ocean went to stare at the stars.

Ocean: So what do the Inklings call these star patterns?

Clam: They are constellations, when Octolings were the only existing Octarians hundreds of years ago, these stars were what guided them to suitable land.

Ocean: Didn't they have a compass at least?

Clam: Not before making it onto land, they needed to discover Sardinium before they could make anything made of metal.
