Infestation in Inkopolis! IC

"Okay. Here we go," Neptune says mainly to himself, readying his Classic Squiffer. Hope flicks the switch on the voice box to have it translate in Inkling. She readies her Splattershot Jr, ready to do some Turf Wars. They, along with the other cephalopods, wait for the match to start. It seems that the stage this time is Ancho-V Games.

The cephalopods find themselves in Ancho-V games.

"Oh cool! This is where they created some of my favorite games!" Coral says.

"It's nice to finally have a Turf War indoors." Kelp responds.

Meanwhile, Clam arrives at Ancho-V games just in time to watch the match live.

"Excuse me, do you know where I can watch a Turf War match safely?" Clam asks a sea bass at the counter.

The sea bass points to where the rest of the audience is. "The audience is over there on the sidelines. You can watch with them," he says.


It seems that Coral and Kelp are on the enemy team, and the other two cephalopods on that team are a male Inkling (hairstyle: Mush-Cut) with the Range Blaster and a female Octoling (hairstyle: Tentacurl) with the Octobrush. Hope's team consists of her, Neptune, a female Inkling (hairstyle: Banger) with the Dynamo Roller, and a male Octoling (hairstyle: Punk) with the E-liter 4K. Once the timer starts, Hope goes to ink the turf around spawn. Neptune charges up, then fires, as does his E-liter 4K teammate. The Dynamo Roller teammate swings her weapon, rolling it along the ground and inking turf as fast as she can.

Clam joins the audience to watch the match.

After the match starts, Coral starts inking his way to the propeller platforms on the left, inking more turf to build up his Inkjet. Kelp helps cover her Range Blaster teammate by inking a path for him to the middle all the while inking turf around them. The Octobrush teammate makes her way to the middle and inks as much of the area as she can.

Hope continues inking turf, refilling her ink after a bit and throwing a Splat Bomb. "おでまし!" [Appear!] she says, chuckling when it explodes. Neptune and his E-liter 4K teammate fully charge up their weapons, then fire and ink as much turf as they can. They refill their ink, while the Dynamo Roller teammate sets down an Ink Mine.

Kelp manages to build up her Ink Storm special, but she saves it when her team starts facing opposition.

Meanwhile, the Octobrush teammate manages to do a surprise attack on the Dynamo Roller user.

Coral sees Hope and throws a Splat Bomb at her direction.

The Range Blaster user starts shooting toward the E-liter 4k user once he got close enough.

Meanwhile, Clam sees the battle going on and cheers on Coral.

"Go little bro! You can do this!" Clam cheers.

The Dynamo Roller teammate tries to dodge her Octobrush opponent, but she does gets splatted, potentially due to both the fact that she was surprised by the sneak attack and the fact that she couldn't shift to her squid form and swim away fast enough. The E-liter 4K teammate attempts to splat his Range Blaster opponent, but he's struggling to even tap shot because he's up close, face-to-face with his opponent. Hope cheers the enemy team on with a little 'booyah'! "頑張って、コーラ!" [Good luck, Cora!] she tells Coral, firing her Splattershot Jr. Neptune fully charges his Classic Squiffer, firing it and inking more turf.

"Good luck to you too Hope!" Coral says as he continues firing his Octo Shot.

"Is it me or is raining indoors?" Kelp jokingly asks as she uses her Ink Storm.

The Range Blaster manages to splat his E-liter 4k opponent but is running low on ink.

Neptune tries to make a path to get away from the Ink Storm, but it seems that he was too slow, getting splatted. Hope refills her ink, tossing a Splat Bomb towards Coral. "おでまし!" [Appear!] she says, chuckling when it explodes. After the Dynamo Roller teammate respawns, she swings her Roller horizontally (though it does take a while since it's so heavy), then rolls it on the ground to ink more turf. Noticing that she's low on ink, she refills it and sets down another Ink Mine.

The Octobrush teammate makes her way to a higher place to protect her team's area.

In the meantime, Coral took major damage from Hope's Splat Bomb after barely avoiding it. He then enters his own ink to recover.

Meanwhile, Kelp notices that she's being aimed and shot at, she tries to see which of the two charger users is aiming at her.

The Range Blaster user notices one of the charger lasers being pointed to Kelp.

After both Neptune and the E-liter 4K teammate respawn, they fully charge up their weapons and fire, inking some uninked turf. Hope and the Dynamo Roller teammate refill their ink and get to inking turf as fast as they can.

Coral's team seems to have gotten the upper hand.

"Great job guys!" Coral congratulates his team as he keeps inking.

"We have a good chance at winning this!" Kelp predicts as she keeps inking.

Hope throws a Splat Bomb towards the Range Blaster opponent after refilling her ink. "おでまし!" [Appear!] she says, chuckling when it explodes. The Dynamo Roller teammate swings her Roller horizontally (though it does take a while since it's so heavy), then rolls it on the ground to ink more turf. She soon refills her ink after noticing that she's low.

Not seeing the Splat Bomb due to focusing on splatting Neptune, the Range Blaster user gets splatted by the Splat Bomb's explosion.

Meanwhile, Kelp throws an Autobomb near Hope.

"Say hi to your new friend." Kelp jokingly says.

Coral sees his Range Blaster teammate get splatted, so he decides to finally use his Inkjet, going after Neptune.

"Hello there!" Coral says as he fires an explosive shot at Neptune.

Hope tries swimming away from the Autobomb, but it catches up to her and explodes, splatting her. Neptune tries to dodge the shots from the Inkjet, but it seems that he's not fast enough to outrun said Inkjet shots, getting splatted. The E-liter 4K teammate continues inking turf, as does the Dynamo Roller teammate. The E-liter 4K teammate uses his Ink Storm to try and ink more turf, and the Dynamo Roller teammate uses her Sting Ray, aiming for Kelp.

Coral suddenly gets targeted by the E-liter 4k, he tried to sway around to prevent himself being splatted, but the Dynamo Roller started flinging ink at him as well. He was eventually splatted by the E-liter 4k.

Kelp notices this and went to splat the Dynamo Roller with quick swings from her Carbon Roller.

The Octobrush tries to keep hidden, but she was crushed by the Dynamo Roller, being splatted.
