Fair. I always thought in my head Splat Bomb wasn’t that big a problem but that was in part because not many strong weapons have it. But it seems to be necessary judging by general consensus. If the audio reasonably aligns, I’ll slap 5 frames onto detonation time for Splat Bomb
I was trying to argue with that post that 10 frames wouldn't be a problem (that's what would make it a 70% difference) but I suppose 5 frames is fine for now and we can see if it's still a problem afterwards.

Here's an idea. What if ink mine is placed two or three units in front of where the player is standing? That way it's easier to use aggressively, defensively, however you want to use it, because you don't have to go as far to put the mine where you want it.

If I can figure that out, that’d be cool. 3 units does seem like a lot though

I agree with pretty much everything in this video. The problems he mentions all line up with my (limited) experience 4-starring a bunch of dualies like a year and a half ago.

Buffing tetra's endlag seems like a little much, but idk. A lot of other things did get faster, so it's probably fine.

I’m a little hesitant on endlag buff for tetra since I did give it 30, and with the kits working better for them, they might not need it.
Dapples I do think a third roll is cool for them so I think it’ll be okay, though I might revert.
Squelchies I did all of the changes if I’m not mistaken unless I did jump rng instead of shot rng then I’m trolling.
Dousers I plan to revert the 5 frame endlag buff because looking back, it didn’t need it as much as I thought. Yeah, paint buff could work though I might buff ink efficiency on standard fire

I think an endlag buff makes more sense for it than a damage buff. You could buff it to 29 though (to keep the dart + 2 shots combo against 1 sub of bomb defense without giving it all of the 30 damage combos) and give it a one or two frame endlag buff

Jump rng is fine in vanilla. the regular rng feels much worse to use, and it already has two reticles.

I have no experience with dousers, so I'm not super confident about any of these changes. Either of the last two you mentioned could work but the endlag buff doesn't fix its problem (the standard fire) so I don't think it makes sense. I do like Chara's idea slightly better though
