Aykorn
Inkling Commander
So Max had chosen to not fight goons, as they all ran from a drill barreling towards them. Surprise, surprise.
...Actually? Wade hadn't been entirely sure that Max would make that decision. He wasn't sure what Max was thinking at all. Was he thinking? That was the real question here.
Whatever, Wade thought as he side-eyed Max. No one was getting stuck behind the drill now. That made this part simpler. He put both hands over the drills heart, closing his eyes to focus on what to instill onto the drill. Rotate, move... Run...
With this remaining chance to access the drill, parts of him wanted to keep exploring what kind of commands it would take, what he could feel about the system, what kind of memory he could-- there were footsteps. They were close. He'd be a hypocrite if he didn't know it was more important to get away.
He had to do this now and let the drill go.
When Jax had asked how this plan sounded, Wade had given him a sure nod back. He felt like he could get the drill to do this easily. In a circular way, it wasn't just confidence. The drill worked off feelings so if he felt it, he could do it.
Wade opened his eyes and pulled his hands away. It was simple, it would work. And now that the drill had been set in motion, it was time to scram.
