Splatoon: Octolings Vs Inklings (War RP IC)

Shade stops firing the hydra splatling and slinks back. "A formidable opponent!" He says to Agent. "Come, let us fight. I will let you heal first. I will wait. " He creates a dome around him, awaiting the chance.

 

[Cephalobro]

Clam: *peeks out of the crate* What will we do, Coral? Coral!

Coral: *a memory triggers, it shows Coral at a younger age, his mother holding his hand, both are laughing happily, then he snaps back* What, what?!

 

[Chewwiii]

(Wellll he’s not Shadeeee soooooo >,> wellll he technically still is Shadeee hmmmmmm)

She freaks as he comes closer; hugging the Agent tight,
“Get away!! It wasn’t him, I threw the ink!! We are trying to save you you messed up experiment of a Inkling!”, she barks. “Don’t try to kill the Agent or me!! ....or Clam and Coral!!”

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: *comes out from behind his crate to try to reason with Shade* Look, we are not supposed to be enemies.

Clam: *agitated whisper* Coral, what are you doing?!

Coral: *whispering back* Trying to convince this thing to join our side, off course.

 

[Yin_]

(I see your point.)
"And why would that be hmmm? Why would I join you when I can do anything I want?" Then he hears Ginger. "Oooooh getting all protective are we? Getting close, if you know what I mean. " he says laughing

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: Well, you seem to still be following orders from someone else, so technically you aren't doing anything you want.

Clam: *face tentacle*

(BTW, face tentacle is just an Octotrooper's version of face palm)

 

[Chewwiii]

She bares her teeth and growls,
“He’s my friend! Friends protect each other!”, she stops and giggles. “You wouldn’t understand, because your so all about being ‘the best’ huh? You almost sound like.. what was his name... oh Nix! Like a carbon copy..Hahaha..”

(Lol “face tentacle” xD just realized that meant “face palm” pffffft. I’m slow.)

(weekends are gonna be a problem for me with the amount of travel I do on them :/)

After what seems like an eternity of dodging and running, Roe finds himself a room to hide in. An empty guardpost, no doubt the origin of the squad that attacked them before, becomes a welcome resting point. He's careful to be still, the footfalls of the Octo samurai are still close.

Suddenly, a power surge floods through the building. Roe's short circuit burns through the local limitter. Lights across the building burn white hot, and a few even crack under the intense heat. Delicate circuits are fried, and a brief darkness falls over the floors in the moments before the back up systems activate the building's emergency lighting.

 

[Cephalobro]

(It's okay, I'm currently trying to make sure our characters meet.)

Coral: *hears some pounding footsteps* Uh, should we be worried?

Clam: Just how many experiments did this place conduct?!

Coral and Clam then see a large shadow walking through the hall.

 

[Agent 507]

The agent gasps as the ink heals his wounds almost instantaneously. Realizing that ginger was holding him tight, his eyes widened as his tentacles grew a dark red color along with his face “Uhm...miss...”

 

[Yin_]

"Ahhh but if that's true, then why is he blushing." He says smiling. (Will post more later)

 

[Chewwiii]

She looks at the Agent and sees he’s all healed up. Instantly letting go and pushing him away, she whimpers as the lights go out,
“S..sorry!!”

As soon as the lights come back on, she focuses all her attention on Not Shade and sighs,
“I dunno?? Really, why ask me this? I’m not him..!”

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: Guys, I don't want to complicate matters, but I think there's something else walking around in this base.

Clam: Something gargantuan, might I add.

 

[Agent 507]

(Uncle Cthulhu is that you???)

“Its fine..” he brushes himself of, then hoists himself back up, ready to fight this...’thing’ that called itself apart of shade.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: I'm going to look for Roe, Clam you stay here to make sure Agent wins this fight!

Clam: Coral, for the last time, I'm not letting you go alone!

Coral: Just trust me on this one, dad wanted me to be brave, so this is what I'm doing.

Clam: Fine, you can go alone on this one.

 

[Yin_]

When the lights go out, all that can be seen is the red eyes and smile. "Thanks for the advantage!" The eyes disappears and he is completely invisible because of no light. Pulling a dynamo out, he gives it a few swings in their direction. "Ah my brothers are almost here. "

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral goes deeper into the base, trying his best not to be noticed, he then sees that the shadow belonged to an Octo Samurai.

Coral: Carp *says quietly* I can't look for Roe if the Octo Samurai spots me.

Meanwhile, Clam is rooting for Agent.

Clam: You can do it!

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe pokes his head out of the post, when he's certain the footsteps are growing weaker. Much like before, he restricts his bioluminescence to only his eyes, considering it worth the risk to see in the dark.

Rounding a corner, Roe's heart almost leaps from his chest as he bumps straight into a Octoling figure. He exhales sharply, when he sees it's Coral.

"Did you find what you were looking for?", he whispers. "The broken circuits will keep security down for a while, but I don't think I can handle this guy following me."
