Splatoon: Octolings Vs Inklings (War RP IC)

[Cephalobro]

Coral is surprised to bump into Roe, but is also happy to see him.

Coral: Not yet, but I found some allies who can help. Unfortunately, they are dealing with a blob monster at the moment.

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe gives a confused look, his brow furrowing over the glow of his pupils. "Blob?... Okay. Maybe I can help. This guy is strong, but slow. Think we can just shake him?"

He listens for footsteps. Keeping tabs on when, or if they should run.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral remembers he passed by a Sting Ray canned special on his way down.

Coral: Okay, here's the plan. I'll distract the Octo Samurai while you grab a Sting Ray and use it from where you hide.

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe nods, "ok, I'll slip back to the special then. Be careful." Without protest, he sprints off the retrieve the special can and ducks into an alcove to await Coral's distraction.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral then springs in front to the Octo Samurai.

Coral: Hey pudgy Octo! I bet you can't catch me! *lays down ink and transforms into his octopus form to distract the Octo Samurai*

 

[Chewwiii]

As the dark greets them again, Ginger smells the ink from Shade not Shade's Dynamo heading in their direction and rolls out of its way; tripping the Agent in the process and helping him quickly evade the attack.

"Stay aware, Agent!", she hears the ink drop behind them. "You almost got hit!"

Trying to think up a plan, she searches the dark for Shade not Shade and braces herself for the next attack.

(Hmmmm Shade not Shade..? First "the Thing" and now "Shade not Shade"... This other Shade needs a name.. Nhade? Uh... what's the opposite of shade..?)

 

[Cephalobro]

Back with the group

Clam: Oh gees, I can't do anything about this. Be careful Agent!

 

[Agent 507]

He nods, his eyes flashing from yellow back to blood red, he held his head as he kept whispering to himself “Not again...”

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe hides in some ink, waiting for Coral to race by. He gets his chance, as Coral swims past with the samurai in close pursuit.

Roe cracks the Sting Ray can open, and flashes bright blue as the contents charge his ink. The Octo Samurai turns in time to see Roe heft the Sting Ray and blast him with a super-powered stream of blue ink. By the time the samurai has splatted, the Sting Ray is empty and Roe is left desperately trying to catch his breath.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral inks his way back to Roe.

Coral: Great job! *smiling and patting his back*

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe takes a deep breath to catch his wind. "Thanks... Isn't your brother usually with you?"

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: He's back with the group of allies. Let's go meet them!

Coral then hurries back to the battle between Agent and Shade.

 

[Yin_]

"Lets do this. Fists only. " Shade says to Agent. Shade flashes red and a circle appears around the two. A wall cuts off any escape. "If one of us were to step outside of this, they will be immediately."

 

[Chewwiii]

(lol a victim of auto correct, amiright? xD )

She automatically backs up as the circle and wall come up; dividing her and Clam from the Agent and Shade.

"Squit.." she muttered.
Realizing she can't do very much now, she turns her back on the two in the circle and sits down.

 

[Cephalobro]

Clam: Darn it! Why do everything have to become impossible for us to do?!

 

[Chewwiii]

"Calm your suckers..", she yawns. "He'll hold up.. and if not then we can take that Thing down.. we've become the backup plan.."

A thought pops into her head and she quickly looks inside of her Sloshing Machine, checking on the tentacle remains. She sighs in relief as she sees them writhe about in the left over ink clinging to the inside of the Machine.

'This really is going to take longer than what I thought..', she hums in annoyance..

 

[Cephalobro]

Clam: Well, since the only thing we can do is wait, let's tell our stories in the meantime *sits down*

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe follows behind Coral, laying his own ink to dive through as they hurry back.

"I owe it to them to give a little help... They did show me this place to report and all.", his thoughts wander to memories of old competitive turf battles as he follows.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: Yes, I remember being scared of them at first so my brother and I hid in yellow ink shortly after our encounter with the guards.

 

[Chewwiii]

Ginger puts a finger up to her mouth and bites it as she thinks over her current story..

"ah.. Why don't you share your story first?", she offers. "It'll take me a bit to summarize mine.."

'And a bit to go over what I want to share too.. no way I'm gonna tell everything..', she thought as she puts her Machine down beside her.
