Splatoon: Octolings Vs Inklings (War RP IC)

[Chewwiii]

Ginger quietly watches them for a second before turning away, making her way to the middle of the square.

“Well, while you two rest I need to bring this..”, she reaches into the Machine to pull out a tentacle, “to my mother. She’s not very far from here and I’ll just be dropping it off on her doorstep..”,she drifts off and then adds, “Oh I’ll be super jumping to get there too.. so I’ll be get there and back really quickly.”

She pauses and turns back around to look at the two,
“Uhh.. Does anyone have a Squid Beacon I can use for getting back here..?”

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral drifts off to sleep while Kelp caresses him, Clam finds a nearby plant to sleep on.

Kelp: Sweet dreams *whispering to Coral*

 

[Agent 507]

He nods, throwing one on the ground and using his watch to turn it on, slowly closing his eyes as he took a deep breath.

 

[Chewwiii]

“Thank you!”, she smiles.

Turning back around, she takes a few steps back; pressing the map button on her goggles, pulling up a map of Inkopolis, and pushing the Octoling base maps away in the process. She then locates her mother’s beacon and closes the map.

“Okay.. and off I go..”
She prepares her body for the jump as she skips a few steps forward, cartwheels, and does a front flip before slipping into her Inkto Form and super jumping away..

 

[Agent 507]

He sighed as ginger jumped away, mumbling loudly enough for the twins and kelp to hear him say “Why is she so cute...”

 

[Cephalobro]

Clam wakes up hearing Agent

Clam: Wha... Who? *rubbing his eyes*

Kelp: I think he said the Inktoling who super jumped.

Coral: *Yawn* I was enjoying my nap. *gets off Kelp's lap and becomes his humanoid form, stretching*

Clam, Coral and Kelp go to see Agent.

 

[Agent 507]

“Pfft, no.” He said as he opened his eyes and rolled them, finally laying down to his side to try and sleep, or at least rest a little bit.

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe snickers quietly. He looks toward Agent, and slouches a bit. "You know... I can get you two tickets to the Squid Sisters, when this is all over." He stows away a teasing smile, and buries his face in his squid phone.

 

[Agent 507]

“Shut up...” he mumbled under his breath, unamused by roes teasing as he closed his eyes, his tentacles and face turning a dark red color.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral: Well, I know it's hard to deny it, back when we were escaping the Crimson Octarians in Octo Valley, I met this cute and adorable Octoling. *points to Kelp*

Kelp: *giggles*

Clam: I was the bodyguard for both of them at the time, every time Kelp sat next to Coral, he blushed even at the sight of her hand being close to his.

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe falls quiet, save for a whispered groan. The reprieve was appreciated, but reality was setting in. Oddly enough, the act of scrolling through the cancelled shows he was once scheduled is the catalyst. Roe feels the heavy weight of what war in Inkopolis means, and it dims the cheer in his eyes.

The gloom is temporary, though. The Octarians story gets a laugh out of Roe. "Some say hardship brings people together, and binds them the strongest." He speaks to no one in particular.

 

[Cephalobro]

Clam lays down and closes his eyes while Kelp sits and allow Coral to sleep on her lap.

 

[Agent 507]

He sighs, waiting a few minutes before he falls into unconsciousness, snoring lightly as he transformed into his squid form and hid behind some trash cans, sort of a peaceful way for him to sleep.

 

[InklingJoe]

Roe holds down the fort while Ginger is away, letting the others sleep. He takes this moment of peace to scroll through some ABXY and Wet Floor fan sites for the latest news, and gains some comfort from the fans already anticipating the city's re-openning.

An abandoned small building..
This is what most people would see, but to Ginger it was the safe place her mother currently resided in. She, her mother, decided to temporarily move out of Teriyaki just so she could help evacuate the city and to keep a close eye on her daughter.

It doesn’t take long for her, Ginger, to reach her destination, nor does it take long for her to wrap the tentacle around the doorknob. What did take long was getting out of the surprise hug her mother prepared for her.

After the hug, they catch up on each other’s current situations; Ginger tells her about the tentacle remains that she found, the Inklings and the Ringed Octarians. Her mother tell her in return of the Octarians she’s seen patrolling around, and that she’ll get started on growing an Octoling from the remain Ginger brought. Then they hug each other goodbye and part their ways.. Ginger super jumps back to the others and her mother unwraps the tentacle, bringing it inside the building with her.

 

[Cephalobro]

Kelp sees Ginger land back.

Kelp: *whispering* Hello

 

[Agent 507]

The agent rolls over, knocking over a trash can and jolting himself awake with a startled shout, pulling out his ink pen like a spear.

(PTSD Much??)

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral and Clam are jolted awake by Agent's shout and the trash can tipping over.

Coral: What!?

Clam: Gees!

 

[Chewwiii]

She smiles at Kelp and whispers back,
“Hello..”

The smile quickly fades into a frown as she gasps at the Agent’s yelp...

“Oh...sorry guys...” he sighed as he sat back down, his tired look now obviously shouting. “Just a bit paranoid..”
