Groaning, Shade wakes up and immediately scream with pain. Looking wildly around, he winces realizing he hadn't lashed out and accidentally hit ginger. Where was he? He tries to stand and winces, looking down, he sees the ink on his wounds. "What..." he says, then pales. "That sneaky little son of a-" stopping, he realizes where he is. "Nonononono..." he says panicking. Then he passes out again, still retaining his shape

She yelps as the sudden pain from the accidental attack starts crawling up her nerves and causes the cloud of thoughts around her head to dissolve quite quickly.
Rubbing it in pain, she watches him freak and pass out.
‘Well.. at least he’s still alive...’
She looks at where he hit her and sees a grey bruise quickly forming on top of her pearly white forearm.
Pulling the sleeves of her gloves up higher to hide the bruise, she goes back to covering his wounds in ink..

Coral washes his hand with his own ink while Clam uses a thrown out towel to clean up the blood trail.
Coral: Seriously, how it got back here, I don't know.

All the commotion causes Roe to jerk awake. "Don't pre-amp that mic!... Wait." He gathers back his senses, at first only understanding that there's a mess of activity in front of him. Slowly, things take shape and meaning.
"Who's hurt?!"

Hearing them wake up makes her pause in trying to heal Shade. She looks in the alleyway and waves at them, grabbing their attention.
"oh.. uh.. Sorry! My bad.. I didn't mean to wake everyone..", she actively dodges Roe's question and apologizes. "Sorry for being loud.. you guys can go back to sleep.."

Coral: I'm not tired, in fact. While I was dreaming, Shade's blood somehow got on my hand. Had to wash it off to prevent infection.
Clam: I cleaned it up to prevent the same thing from happening to others.

She cuts her eyes at Coral as a look of surprise crosses her face before returning to a sheepish look.
“Well.. yeah... sorry..!”, she apologizes again. “Like.. really...”
Sighing, she turns back to focus on Shade and gets ready to get back to trying to heal him but.. she pauses and bites her finger as she thinks over what Coral said..
‘..now how did he know it was Shade’s..? They were asleep.. and I wasn’t in their line of sight.. was it the trail..?’
Deciding that it didn’t matter really and that it was probably the trail, she gets back to healing Shade..

Ginger shrugs and immediately hisses as the pain from the bruise flares up.
Rubbing her forearm and emitting a shaky sigh she answers,
“I don’t know..? I mean he woke up for a second.. but then he passed right out..”

“Yeah..”, she nods and looks away.
She didn’t really mind the idea of the “Crimson Octarians”, as the brothers call them, taking over Inkopolis. It would be interesting to watch and see how the city would change. It probably wouldn’t change a whole lot.. maybe be more music oriented.. but of-course she’s able to think this because she’s half Octoling and the results of the war won’t exactly affect her..
‘Or maybe it will..?’, she hums in thought as the brothers try to wake up the Agent.

On the outside, his arms and torso seem to be the ones that twitch violently, on the inside however...
Within his dream, brief flashes start coming back within his mind, the sharp tools, the enhancements...the blood and the cutting. He screamed violently as he felt the worst possible pain surge throughout his body.

Ginger jumps at the sound of thunder that the lid makes and looks around for any sign of rain. Not too soon though, her eyes lay on Coral and the lid..
“Hey! Don’t do that..! You’ll wake everyone and thing up!!”, she glares and rubs her forehead, “why are you trying to wake him up? It’s just a nightmare. Not like it’ll kill him...”
And then the scream happens. Oh yes, the fifth scream that she’s had to repeatedly hear throughout the day. It’s starting to work her nerves hearing everybody scream scream scream.. but this is probably because she hasn’t slept in two days and counting.
Just groaning out of annoyance, she resumes healing Shade..
(Hmmm Yinnn tell me how much longer will it take for Shade to be completely healeddd??)
