TEAM WATER SLIDES!

Just look at all that water slide porn, would ya. . .

I don't know about you guys, but I look forward to hittin' up water parks every summer. Maybe it's because I grew up next to the shore, or maybe it's because of the serene lazy rivers, or maybe it's because of the f*****g awesome water slides. . .WHO KNOWS?!

So, let's look at the pros and cons of water slides, shall we?

Pros: refreshing, exhilarating, tubing, swimming, the best

More pros: you won't die from a mechanical malfunction 1,000 ft in the air (sign me up!)

Well, what's not to like? Let's show those rollercoasters who the main attraction is! *flex*

As an European not participating in the NA splatfest, you guys have my complete moral support. It's like 2 of the best things in the world combined to give the most uniquely fun experience you can get in an amusement park of any kind - why are Rollercoasters even trying?

Once Nintendo and Universal open their park and the DKC Barrel Ride is a thing, i might change my mind but for now it's water slides all the way!

However, i'm also european so i won't be playing for the slides. Or be visiting the Lake Hylia Lazy River once it opens for that matter.

Damn you guys have all the cool stuff :(

Once everyone realizes that some roller coasters are also water rides, there will be no safe haven. We shall provide you no quarter. Team Rollercoaster shall transcend into Team Steamrollercoaster and you will wish you chose the right side.

Even more pros: You are not stuck in a jittery kart with crazy tight seat belts, but take a smooth and wet trip down.

Yet more pros: The picture shows white water. Who wouldn't want to ride a milk water slide? (shut up lactose intolerant people)

Oh no boy, you got it all wrong. Some water rides are also roller coasters.

Answer me a couple of questions:
1) How many people use water in their daily lives?
The livelihood of all mankind depends on it
2) How many people use slides in their daily lives?
Slides are an integral part in the childhood of many, many people
3) How many people use rollers in their daily lives?
There's some 90's and early 2000's kids and also people who think they're cool but they're not
4) How many people use coasters in their daily lives?
What the **** is a coaster?

Answer these questions truthfully and you have no choice but to realize the intrinsic superiority of water slides in every regard possible.

But what if people can'take swim? They can't use a water slide. Plus, water slides are only good for the summer season mostly.

But to answer your last question, I use a coaster every day. For my drinks. A drink coaster. =P

So what if people suffer from cardiovascular disease (which there are a lot of)? Rollercoasters are a health hazard because of the extreme stress reaction induced, and since the people chained to that apparatus for a comparatively long amount of time they can get a lot of damage done.

Also, water slides can be at least installed indoors, so that's a completely moot point. Besides that, who rides a rollercoaster in the winter?

Learning to swim is well worth the reward of water slides. Plus, some use tubes or shallow landing points, so drowning is a minor problem.

Go here http://squidboards.com/threads/team-roller-coaster-roll-out.3179/ to ramble about the inferior choice.
Well, looks like some people can't take a joke.

Oh snap, I responded to another thread saying I might choose rollercoasters but now there are valid arguments for water slides.
