In a bit of an H-3 funk, so I picked up Splat Roller.

6 Game winning streak with myself personally making the winning play. I got 2 Doubles and a Triple all in the same round. Unleashing Wail, Suction, Roller traps upon unsuspecting squads is satisfying.

I think I've been a Roller all along.

I decided to play splat zones today, since I didn't want to play Moray TW. Brought my trusty Jet Squelcher (fittingly, my first ranked "main") for more objective focused, defencive play.

I won 7 games in a row (including a few turnarounds), and reached S+ for the first time. Feels great to finally have made it there, even if I only stay for 6 games or so.

I ****ing got S+

Definitely the hardest rank for me personally to move up to. Dropped to A+ a lot and almost back to A at one point. Then in my last match to S+ I almost lost at the very end AGAIN, but our team clutched it out in overtime somehow. Ty Custom Blaster and Soda Slosher.

I started around February this year. I guess that makes it about 3 1/2 months in total to get here. Not sure if I wanna try getting S+ 99 since this was so hard already, but hey you never know.

I just realized slosher was my first ever main too, lol! Life can be such a circle

This is sort of bragging, but mostly I just want to share a match that happened last night.

So I'm doing ranked with a friend, twin squad, splat zones museum, and the result was ENDLESS SPLAT BOMB RAIN! 3 or maybe all 4 of the enemy team had splat bombs, and they NEVER STOPPED CHUCKING THEM AT ME, hahaha, there had to have been at least 60 that blew up on the platform before my team won by knockout. I think it's a small testament to my dodging ability that they only got me a couple times, but WOW, I have never seen so many concentrated splat bombs before on this game!

Splat Zones on Blackbelly Skatepark (S rank again—had a bad streak yesterday). Some time into the match, two of my teammates disconnected, leaving only me (vanilla Dynamo) and one other person (a Splattershot Jr.). While we didn’t win, we still got a very respectable score (50) and we actually managed to survive for a few minutes! My teammate was really good at surviving and I think we both got triple splats a couple times. We weren’t alive at the same time much though. It would have been awesome if we won, but oh well!

One of my favorite things is being really stupid with the RM and getting it ahead just because people aren't ready for someone trying to walk it forward without any teammates. On Flounder Heights, I saw the bubble popping for the other team, but I decided to go for it anyways since it was on a grate. I fell down to the next platform and saw someone climbing up, so I got a charge ready in a kind of vague hope that maybe I can get a path for me to swim out a bit and get some more distance. The guy actually lands on my spiral, so I get a chance to take it even closer without a fight, since everyone's still busy fighting each other. But one Krak-On Roller got splatted, and he was fast on his way to me. "Well, it was a good run," I thought as he raised his roller high-and missed. But he got me right after that. :P We never made it to a knockout, but we held it there for a pretty long time, and ended 83-3. (which was nice, since the first time only made it to 9)

Old story. Camp Zones.

My team is Custom E Litre (me), E Litre, Hero Charger, Splat Roller
vs 52 Gal, 96 Gal, Carbon Roller, Dynamo

We won by KO to the point where they were afraid to approach at all. I was pretty sure we were going to lose, but everyone landed all their shots so we had nothing to worry about.

Seems like Rainmaker on my favored maps with the Krak-On is the way to go when I need to rank back up to S+. I didn’t quite make it (and let it be known that I still hate Kelp Dome), but I had a bunch of great matches tonight. Some K/Ds: 13/5, 8/1, 12/4 (lost that one unfortunately), 10/4 (got a triple at the end—I was very close to getting a quad, and also the only one on my team wth a positive K/D) and 12/5. All around some fun matches where I got to put my favorite Krak-On strategy to use.

Edit: And many times when we went into overtime, I was actually really good at finding and splatting foes before they got to the Rainmaker holder. Unfortunately, most of the time I didn’t get everyone so we still lost, but I was doing especially well at escorting tonight.

BOY Have I been having some crazy match's lately. In Underpass Tower Control, the opponent got a massive lead on us. Soon the tides turned, and we eventually got a knockout. In most cases, getting a knockout on Urchin Underpass is really hard.

While we're waiting for Ninty to resuscitate their servers, I thought I'd share a highlight I had just before running into that problem. In a couple matches I was matched up with three Aerospray RGs. When we won both matches I ended up outscoring them all...with my Berry Pro! Gog I love this weapon.

Spawncamping in Bluefin Depot Rainmaker will always be one of my favorite activities.
I used the Forge Splattershot Pro there recently and the enemy team just couldn´t get past me. (Inkzooka is love, Inkzooka is life)
Went 20-5. 10/10 would spawncamp again.
