Zapfish Academy: Trip to Octo Valley! ( IC Thread)

Lucas sat down in a corner thinking about who that Octoling lady was, and where Forge had gone. He was also started to get abit worried about Viola and Zerul being out on their own for so long, and he was also wondering what was holding up Coerulus, Zawlt, and Xexe. As he sat down lost in thought began fumble with his blue sweater.

Now that Mr. Porta and Aria and Illex were the only adults left, the atmosphere was tense as the others were fearing for their own and their other classmates lives. When Porta quietly asked Lucas about the Octoling womans weaponry, he nodded.

"Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised that she came out here with a weapon of her own, considering how the militia act around here." Lucas responded at the same voice level as Porta. "Chances are that's true that she has more weapons lying around somewhere. Maybe she got her set in that room that Coerulus, Zawlt and his Octoling friend Xexe went in during the skirmish." He finished, staring at the laundry room door.

Getting up, he turned to his other supervisor, curious on why she will be punished for what happened. "Say Ms. Aria, why would you get punished? You didn't exactly make Zerul go hard on those troops." He said turning his switching his gaze to the person in question, the laundry room, and outside the hotel.

[Coerulus]

"Yeah...I would think that too." he said, walking up to the wall to look over the weapons. The sounds of battle was pretty much gone so he can only expect that either Eriana drove away the forces if they didn't go to follow Zerul by this point or they were knocked out. Any option would be good so at least he'd know his papa was safe. Gingerly picking up one of the weapons, a Octoshot, he glanced to Xexe and Zawlt. "Well we got the weapons but should we really follow them to catch up with Zerul?" he questioned softly.

[Zerul]

Zerul was fighting with the chain at his neck. He looks over at Viola and motions for her to lower her weapon. The commander tightended the chain around Zerul's neck to emphisise to hurry up. "Take that Inkling to be executed! As for you Zerul! I hear a water bath is in order for you!"

[Zawlt]

In the laundry room...

As Zawlt was looking over the weapon choices he knew of Xexe had already grabbed a weapon off the wall. It resembled the one her aunt was using. It was a weapon with the Sploosh-O-Matic's cymbol barrel with a Blaster's body, and inside of her ink tank was Octarion ink, but with several tiny balls floating within it. She then looked over to Gunoy and Coer to see if they've gotten anything and then heard Coer's question, "Knowing Auntie, she may have bolted straight there to help out the big guy," Xexe said, "but I'm worried about what could happen to the both of them so I have to go." As she was speaking with Coer, Zawlt finally found a weapon of choice, a Kelp Splatterscope. He adjusted his inktank, synced it with his ink, and walked over to the two, "Alright, I'm all set you guys ready to do this?" he asked holding the weapon over his shoulders, "I've been ready long before you were, Gunoy," she said bluntly, "Wow, you didn't have to say it like THAT, Xexe a simple yes would've sufficed," he said saddened a bit. He then took notice of her inktank, "By the way, what are those in your tank there, Xexe?" Zawlt asked, "Oh those? Bubble cells," she said, "basically I shoot someone with one, and then they're trapped in their Octoling or Inkling form in a small bubble," she said. Zawlt was shocked to hear what those could do, "Huh, maybe you should be the one shooting at em' since me and Coer would just end up killing them with our weapons," he said to her, "Nonsense, just go over to that side of the wall and there's a bunch more," Xexe answered, "while you guys are getting prepared for the second time I'll go ahead to the lobby and wait." With that said Xexe then left the laundry room while Zawlt and Coerulus prepared for what was to come.

Xexe came bursting through the door to the lobby and then looked around. She noticed everyone was grouped together and walked over, "Nice to see you all are doing just fine," she said to them.

Meanwhile...

Eriana soon reached the scene where the army had Zerul and Viola cornered basically. She noticed a yellow inkling hiding nearby and assumed he was one of Gunoy's teachers, but he was properly armed. She saw a car nearby that they could use for cover. Not wanting either to be seen just yet she swiftly ran for Forge, grabbed his open hand, and moved them both behind the car. She then put a finger infront of his mouth to quiet him if he was about to yell out and simply said, "I'm with you," and readied her weapon. Right when she was done, Eriana overheard the commander now about to have them killed. Not wanting to waste any time she quickly pulled out some spare bubble cells and handed them to Forge, "Put these in your tank, and don't miss," she said to him. Eriana then stepped out of their cover and shot at three of the soldiers there. All three shots hit home and trapped them making them unable to do anything for quite some time. She figured that would be enough to grab the attention of the commander off of the children.

"E-Executed?! Why?!" Viola yelped, her hair having gone pure white. She was frozen in place as the three soldiers were suddenly shot at, completely paralyzed in fear, her body shaking.

"Nice to see you too." Lucas commented on Xexe's arrival. While Lucas wanted to go an help, he was helpless without a weapon, and the teachers presence made it hard to sneak away.

(( Sorry about my inactivity. I was focusing more on Octo Lab and other activities than this. ))

Forge looked out of his cover, barely catching a glimpse at Zerul and Viola before he was quickly torn away from his spot to behind a car, the person put a hand over his mouth silencing him as he was pulled away. He looked at his surprising assailant, having a handful of bubble cells thrust into his hand and a quick set of instructions given to him.

He glanced down at the bubble cells in his hand, before quickly dumping them into his Ink tank just as the unknown Octoling ran out to shoot a few of the soldiers ahead. "Well, let's blow some bubbles then." Forge grumbled, rolling out of the cover to shoot at four soldiers landing a hit on all of them. Before he shifted his sights onto the captain, firing a three-shot burst at them.

[Zerul]

The soldiers were about to grab viola when a rain of bubbles captured them. Zerul feeling the commander loosen up. He takes advantage of this and flips the command just as bubbles flew towards them. Zerul quickly super jumps at Viola knocking her down to protect her since she seems frozen in her tracks. "Viola calm down please your frozen stiff!" The shots subside and the soldiers were trapped in a bubble. The Sargent of the group was clearly not happy and shouting profanities from within the bubble. Zerul looks around spotting the shooters. It was Forge and another Octarain. He gets off of Viola and helps her up. "Are you ok Viola?"

 

[Coerulus]

As Xexe left, he looked down to the Octoshot and sighed before moving to the wall to grab the bubble cells, grabbing an empty ink tank along with it. Slipping the bubble inside, he went to slide the straps over his shoulders. Once everything was situated and ready to go, syncing both the ink tank and weapon to his ink, he turned to Zawlt. "Ready to go? The quicker this is done, the quicker this trip can get back on track...hopefully..." he murmured, knowing full well that after a disturbance like this, he wouldn't expect Mr. Porta and Forge to have a class of inklings stick around in fear of getting attacked again.

As Coer was asking him he just got the ink tank onto his back again, "Yeah, I am now," he answered, "no telling what's gonna happen after this is over, let's get going." With that said Zawlt made his way out of the laundry room to get to the lobby to meet back up with Xexe and everyone else.

Meanwhile....

Eriana then took notice of all that transpired after she made the first move on the soldiers. She was quite impressed with the inkling's skill with a weapon as well as the Octoling quickly moving the commander into his shots to be captured like her soldiers. With the area now in peace she let out a big sigh, relieved that it was finally over. She attached her weapon to her back along with her ink tank. She walked over to Zerul and Violet, "Are you two all right?" Eriana asked them.

@Rustic @Zerul (Yeah. Sorry >.> Things went silent for so long I kind of blanked on this forum. The thought just finally popped into my head. Sorry about that. ]

Viola was still completely in shock, finally snapping out of it as Zerul helped her up. "Y-Yeah.....S-Sorry about that...." She said, her hair still near pale white. She felt a bit ashamed that, when it came down to it, she couldn't really do anything.

Forge heard the brief exchange between Viola and Zerul, although he wasn't totally sure that she wasn't hurt, he shrugged and decided to try and get them out of there. Obviously, he'd have to do some talking to Zerul after all this was done. "Alright, you two, let's get out of here..." He looked around, realizing that he was hopelessly lost.

"Hmm... Stranger," Forge turned to look at Eriana, "do you know where the hotel is? You know, the one with a bunch of frightened high schoolers?" He asked.

Mr. Porta paced around near the entrance of the hotel, twiddling his arms together in some sort of frantic display of anxiety. "Oh, I hope those two return safely, as this trip was a failure. I was hoping it'd be a better experience than this..."

"Well, you can make it better by not voicing every concern you have," Aria grumbled in response, rubbing her aching head. "By the way, have you seen where the others went?"

"Oh, no!" The Jellyfish wailed, his pacing sped up as did his mumbling. The Octoling groaned as she realized that she caused him to get even more worried. She looked downward, trying to go into her own world and get away from the exceedingly worried Jellyfish.

 

[Zerul]

Zerul held Viola close as to comfort her as they walked. He stops by the leader of the group that attacked them. "Next time i will be ready for you and i wont hesitate to end your life! If you wish to continue your pittiful role as a military leader than it would be in your best intrest to forget i ever existed!" He continues on following Forge as the leader burbled out some very offensive slurs. He looks at the Octarain Forge was talking to. "Um...Thank you for Helping us."

Viola's face turned red as Zerul held her close, her hair slowly regaining it's purple tinge as she started feeling better. It only returned to white when they passed the leader, Viola averting her gaze from the octarians.

As Eriana was looking over the captured military and Forge for whatever reason she then heard Zerul's voice, "Oh you're welcome, young one," she said, "though your friend looks a little traumatized, but it's good that she isn't hurt," she continued. She then looked to Forge asking for directions. She then leaned her head to the left while smiling, "Eriana, handsome," she said introducing herself to Forge, "yes, I know where it is, I work there after all." She then started walking in the direction of said hotel, "Follow me, everyone, I'll escort you all back," Eriana said.

Back at the hotel...

Zawlt came into the lobby where everyone else was, "Xexe, I'm all set now," he said walking up to her, "Good, I was getting tired of waiting, Gunoy," Xexe said. She noticed however that Coer wasn't in sight, "Where's Coer?" she asked, "Oh he's on his way too, don't worry," she said as he looked around. First thing he noticed was his teacher in a panicking fit, though he could imagine why he would be that way.

'Handsome?' Forge thought, watching Eriana walk away. He looked over to the other two and beckoned them. "Let's go you two, we gotta go." The man started following Eriana, "right now," he added as he moved past the floating octopus that was supposedly the military's 'captain', he did a rude gesture with one hand and continued on his way, leaving the octopus in the bubble, a little saltier than before his passing.

The Jellyfish-teacher at the entrance still frantically paced around, casting worried looks over to the street outside. While Aria simply sat on a couch across from him, holding her hand over her face as she sat quietly.

Zerul followed Forge and Eriana but let Viola set there pace as to not run her over. "The sooner we leave this place the better."

[whew! looks like we revived the school! which is good. also lime green. thanks squidboards, i love to be blinded upon coming back lol]

He ran after Zawlt when he left, coming up to stand beside him where Xexe stood but of course, the sight of him decked out in a ink tank and holding a weapon didn't escape his parent's eyes. Illex turned to look to him before stepping over. "Squiddie, you can't be thinking of going out there..." he murmured. Coerulus flinched a little upon hearing his voice before turning to him. "I know...it isn't the best idea but we have to do something somehow...I know this isn't anything like turf war and something can happen but we can't let anything happen to Viola and Zerul." Illex sighed as he listened to his words before reaching down, patting his head. "Come back safe. Last thing I need is for your father to come down here next." Illex then turned to Zawlt and Xexe. "Watch over him for me. I would come along with considering the current panic of Mr. Porta here, I would be better needed here."
