    Spent a solid 4 hours on a phone call with a friend of mine while we played together, and had a really good time! It's been a while since I've been able to play with anyone, so I really enjoyed it, plus I FINALLY got 4 stars on Heavy Splatling! Am I good at it? No. I'm very bad at it. But I had fun regardless

    Thanks to Big Run, I have now gotten ALL of the Octoleet gear!! The grind is OVER! I still want to get the rest of the Salmon Run scale gear, which is... still a lot of bronze (Since there's several 800 bronze items I haven't gotten), but the Octoleet set was the one I was MASSIVELY grinding for! And just as an extra bonus, I was able to get the Iridescent Slopsuit too!

    IT'S DONE! Via grinding 1-stars on weapons I'd never played much of if at all before, I was able to FINALLY get the gold banner I was convinced I'd never get before Splatfests ended! By just sheer good luck as well, it's the Drizzle 2022 banner, which is EASILY my favorite gold banner of the bunch, so I couldn't be happier! Plus, it got me out of my rut, and I found a shocking few weapons I QUITE enjoyed playing!

    My class schedule is really light, because I'm not taking more than I need to be considered a full-time student, as well as the fact that one of my classes got changed to online last second. Hilariously, this means I can track how the campus wifi gets more and more use throughout the day. Directly after my morning class? Smooth as butter. In the evening? I got 4 DCs in a row

    I had fully resigned myself to not getting the new amiibo, my budget was just unfortunately too tight and I couldn't justify spending it on silly figurines... only to decide on a whim to attend my colleges trivia night and walk away with a bunch of prize money. So. SQUID FIGURINES HERE I COME

    It's not hosted often (From the sounds of it, once a year), but it was literally advertised as "Free Money Trivia Night" so... lol. Each won round (With a round consisting of 15 questions) had prize money, and so did a bunch of little challenges between. I didn't go with the expectation of winning, I mostly just enjoy trivia games, but hey! Free money is free money!

    I don't unfortunately, but GameStop is where I ordered them from, and they're really good about getting items in on time, so I suspect pretty soon after release!

    Well, I don't think I'm getting the gold banner from Splatfest Shell-Out spins unfortunately, not unless they do fest reruns down the line. I'm 66 spins away, which is really close, but I average like 40 spins per Splatfest, and I'm also living on campus now and have to rely on [shudders] campus wifi if I want to play so... yeah. I get the silver title in 4 spins though!

    While I forgot to post about it here before/while it was happening, if anyone watched the GDQ Side Order speedrun yesterday, that was some friends of mine doing it, both the runner and her couch! It's a really fun run and it was SUPER cool to watch them live

    It's actually SO lame I have to be an ADULT and go to COLLEGE instead of playing squids forever. Professor I would like an excuse from all classes forever because there's squids and they live in my brain

    After 38 shifts and only TWO losses, I've now officially gotten to EVP 999 on Hydroplant! I managed to go until 840 EVP before I lost my first shift, which is BY FAR a new record for me, and this was the most painless grind I've EVER done in this game. I even managed to take down another Tri king while I was at it!

    Hey, congrats on the 999! That's a massive achievement! Triumvirate is already a very challenging time on it's own, but this map in particular I've found very difficult to actually get kills on thanks to the route Horrorboros takes, so hopefully you'll have a better time on different maps!

    Unfortunately, that's just the grind as it is sometimes. You just gotta remember to take deep breaths and not let the losses tank ur brain bc that's how u end up tilting. There's always a different angle to look at.

    Yeah, it sucks to get in a loss streak, but ultimately one of the positives is that there are other options if feeling stuck. My go-to is SR, since Im consistent with it, but even then, changing up weapons or waiting for a different mode is always there. I think I'm done with PVP for a bit, the loss streak is getting to me, plus I'm planning on getting my 9s in the gold rotation, so its all for the best!

    Gamers... I have failed us (<Bought the new Hollow Knight plushie instead of preordering the new Amiibo) (I'll get them eventually but I've also been waiting for that specific character to get a plushie for YEARS and I never thought they'd actually do it)

    After a painstaking 5 hour grind, I have managed to lose two separate 100xs AND a 333x. It's official, I have gone the entirety of Splatoon 3s lifespan without getting a single day 1 float photo
