    What do you think of the "Brella Good" challenge (amazing challenge name btw)?
    I'm guessing Tent is just going to completely overshadow every other brella in it, especially since it's Zones.

    Oh dang it, there's no special gimmick

    Yeah tent is probably going to dominate, + the maps are really good for it, but lowkey recycled might be the best weapon in the challenge. It kind of eats every other brella, from experience.

    Not a huge deal imo, it's still good to know where exactly the tent is behind the shield but aside from that it's not that big a deal, you can play around that. I think fizzy's way more threatening for tent

    Everyone, I'm losing it. Manta zones, last game of the rotation, 1-1 series. We get a lead of 50 but can't manage to get the advantage again. We get wiped, 20 ticks left for the enemy.
    One of my teammates booyahs, "lmao gg u sux lol" or whatever. I decide to go left side this time, one tick left, I BARELY hold their zone on time and get a kill, my team manages to catch the enemies right side, we get the advantage.

    I go on their street, pop zooka (bold decision in retrospect but ok), somehow get TWO (nice special), we're scoring but we have to go back to zone. I get a risky one shot on the edit (I was telling myself "I need to hit this" right before too), and we manage to outpaint them in a 2v3 and win in overtime.

    Needless to say, I DON’T WANT TO HEAR ANY OF Y'ALL BOOYAHING WHEN WE’RE LOSING EVER AGAIN

    I love how even though I'm well past 5-starring both tents, I’m still learning new techniques
    Like recently, I've been launching my shield at ledges to stop it from moving in some 1v1s, it's way harder to shoot you down like that. It's also really effective against splash wall weapons

    It feels so cool implementing these in my games and catching people off guard

    I went back to splatoon after a small break, only to play X battles and get essentially obliterated by a 96 gal deco I fought over and over. I lost about 80 points, I'm taking another break :')

    Like they had machine from isaac, dapples nouveau from a pre-divorce catalyst, junior from masked katz, tent from yours truly, and tetra from whichever tetra main was available that day lol

    I can't believe we didn't root for Korea actually :')

    I love how overall we have a good variety of mains on this site, everyone seems to specialize in a different weapon, but for some reason we got a bunch of tetra dualies and hydra splatling mains SPECIFICALLY.

    Like not splattershot mains, or wiper mains, or 52 gals or whatever, no. Tetra and Hydra, nothing else

    I unironically can't wait to watch the mode getting played in comp now without seeing the most unentertaining strategy ever. I like the patch overall, I think it's decent, but this change alone makes it so worth it thank god. And people won't use it in solo now! Giant W

    I won't miss Kraken cheese and I'm glad for the change, but I will say I will miss making absolutely terrible superjumps to Krakens that have pushed WAY too far into enemy base </3 I love making bad decisions </3

    Not even gonna lie I have to run Drop Roller whenever I play non-Dualies because I'm so used to dodge rolls on landing that I will literally feed for an entire game long because I keep forgetting that "Jump to the furthest possible player" is Maybe Not A Good Strategy. I mean it wasn't good with Dualies either but AT LEAST it's more survivable LMAO

    I just learned that the teams had NO VOICE CHAT in Koshien like what, plus they could hear the announcers too. What was Nintendo even thinking there?

    Apparently it's causing a bit of a controversy in Japan, plus it also means that the jp team qualified for worlds was decided on turf war only, so if your team's insane at turf but terrible elsewhere you still got qualified. That's... kind of dumb

    I’ve heard a suggestion that Nintendo should add two extra teams, a Japan team that qualified via an all-modes tourney, and also adding Latin America as a region to round to a total of 8-teams

    I'm kind of surprised the hong kong (edit: whoops it's the korean team) team's using tent in turf war, I think it's pretty weak in that mode. It's so... ignorable when it doesn't have an objective to influence imo

    But then again they're also using dapples nouveau, so maybe they're cooking idk
