This I approve of...Yeah, let's go with that.
GO AHED, MISTA JOESTUR.Yes. D'arby tho.
Yes. Hol-heartedly. Very much so and I love every episode. I never read the manga, but as soon as Part 3 is over, I'm going straight to the manga for Part 4. I just can't wait.Any else as obsessed with JoJo as I am?
Thanks ;)This I approve of...
Just wait until you get to like, the last couple episodes. Somehow, Space Dandy gets even more Dandy.Other than that, I've been watching Space Dandy and it's such an entertaining show. Part of me wishes the episodes weren't self-contained, but they're still great.
I almost read that as Boku no Pico...-shudders-I haven't seen a single episode of Jojos but the anime adaption is so true to the manga I really don't need to, I can't wait to see how they do the final fight with dio in the animu, the OVA had it done really well.
Is it okay to bring up manga? Has anyone read Boku No Hero Acedemia? It's definitely one of the best up and coming manga in recent memory.
Almost?I almost read that as Boku no Pico...-shudders-
NOPEAlmost?
Man, you missed out.
I found doungion really hard to get into, for one its really hard for me to get ointo any fantasy anime in general, and two for the genre its pretty generic outside of boob string."Is it wrong to hit on girls in a dungeon?" Is one of my favorites of this season, as well as the food one (Something soma), Plastic Memories and Stardust Crusaders.
Top 5 Favorite animes atm are: NGNL, AOT, TTGL, Aldnoah Zero, and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

Souma is absolutely brilliant and hilarious.
I'm feeling like Plastic Memories is kind of a "baby's first psycho-pass", I mean, its got themes, but it barley touches on them and as far as its going the ending is so obvious you could see it from space. There are two big problems really, the first being that you can see the endings way before they are going to happen and since they are so predictable its hard to get emotional like they want you to, and second its comedy kind of falls back on basic tropes that arent really that funny after the first hundred billion times. It set out to be a SoL comedy and a Drama at the same time, but is mediocre at both.
To continue with my ranting since you mentioned it I guess, Aldnoah.Zero was a mess honestly.
To keep it short, Its kind of strange really, it had a great few episodes (notably the only ones written by urabutcher) but then kind of fails to create an identity, at best it was above average and it had somethings to say I guess. But when the second season came I got pissed because its EVERYONE CAME BLOODY BACK! I mean, there was no reason for them to, except they didnt want to expand on the other characters. It would have been really interesting to have the second seaon focus on the antagonist (Slain) completely since Inaho's dead, and funnily enough Slain was really the only interesting thing about season 2 with his whole "at this point im just doing it because i built myself to do it" arc. Not to mention the ending makes no real sense considering 1. a lot of the plot hinges on the idea that a lot of knights WANT to destroy earth and eachother and 2. how the hell does locking slain up help him?
I could go on rambling about Aldnoah.Zero, but others have done it way better then I ever could.
The other ones are great though, maybe not my favourites (Serial Experiments Lain, Hunter X Hunter, and then a large list that I have no hope in organizing into a "top list") , but still.
Yeah the sound track was amazing, but thats waht you expect from Sawano who is godly.Main reason I loved the series was the soundtrack, the animation, the twists and turns and overall the badassery of Inaho, not to mention that the protagonists were the underdogs, something you don't see in every anime. I seldom leave my critique above my fanboyism but even though they came back alive it didn't stop me from enjoying the anime. Only other mech anime to catch my attention in the same manner was Gurren Lagaan but that's a given. I'm sure they are making another season to answer questions hopefully.
That's a shame... Well in any case if what you are saying is true what about No Game No Life? Surely that sold well right? Regardless of the artist tracing scandal or w.eYeah the sound track was amazing, but thats waht you expect from Sawano who is godly.
On that note, underdog ism is rather common, what its not commen in is most generic shounen, and even then thats mainly untrie too, since mst of them like to create that illusion. Whats mre uncommon is war anime that focus on that, but even then, usually they have you be the underdog in that, atleast illusionally.
And I doubt they are making another season, for one, it tied itself up with an ending it seems to like, and also, it's DVD's have not been selling well and its been a critical falier. Anime that where critical success dont always get a second season, let alone a third. Plus, they where running of Ura's plan, whitch was only for the two seasons according to the interveiw. Basically, an anime wont get another season unless its announced soon after its finished, or sells a lot, this is neither.
I think it sold OK, I bloody hope it gets another season with the season bait/read the manga ending it hadThat's a shame... Well in any case if what you are saying is true what about No Game No Life? Surely that sold well right? Regardless of the artist tracing scandal or w.e
I think i'm liking Punchline more then most, but that may be because I'm a big fan of the creators work, and have trust that the twists later on will be worth it.Currently watching Punch Line and Food Wars atm. Enjoying both considering they're not what I typically watch.
