Coral and Kelp lead Hope and Wish to Kelp's house.

Hope and Wish follow, then the two Octolings grab two corners of the mattress as best they can.

Coral and Kelp grab the remaining two corners, doing their best to lift the mattress.

"Man, this is heavy!" Coral says as he strains to lift the corner.

"I didn't think this would be this heavy!" Kelp says as she also strains to lift another corner.

It seems to be too heavy for even Wish, as he struggles holding it up. Due to her small size, Hope is dangling off an edge, trying to grab onto the mattress so she won't fall.

"You 4 are obviously forgetting to lift the middle part." Ocean criticizes everyone before somehow making her way under the mattress and lifting up from the middle.

"Whatever." Kelp responds to her sister.

By then, Clam comes in the room after hearing the commotion.

"Are you seriously struggling to lift up a mattress?" Clam asks the 4 Octolings.

"Really Clam? Instead of insulting us, maybe help us here!" Coral responds to his brother.

"Then watch how a pro lifts a mattress!" Clam says before getting under it and lifting it.

Hope and Wish are surprised that a small Octotrooper can lift such a heavy mattress. Has Clam been training in his spare time, or something completely different?

(BTW, Clam isn't small, he's actually a little bit taller than Coral. Ocean managed to get a little bit of the mattress off the ground, which allowed Clam to worm his way under it to help.)

With a bit of help from Coral's brother, everyone managed to carry the mattress to Hope's and Wish's house.

"About my brother's strength, he was actually my bodyguard almost all the time when we were underground, so all of that physical fights against enemies made him stronger." Coral explains.

"That's because I never relied on those ink-shooting machines to attack enemies, it was all raw physical power." Clam clarifies, "And yes, I also train in my spare time so I can stay ready for when I need to protect Coral from an attacker again."

Wish gently places the mattress down, as he doesn't want to accidentally hurt Hope. She still holds onto the mattress, then gets down when it's on the floor and goes back to the sleeping bag.

Coral, Kelp, Clam, and Ocean go back to their houses after waving goodbye to Hope and Wish.

Hope and Wish also wave goodbye to the Octarians, then sleep the rest of the day away.

The next morning arrives as Coral and Kelp bring breakfast to Hope and Wish, many muffins are small while many others are big. Kelp wanted to make what is perceived to be normal-sized by two very different-sized Octolings. Coral knocks on the door, trying to make sure the big muffins don't fall on the ground.

Wish opens the door, only to see Kelp and Coral carrying many different-sized muffins. Hope follows, not knowing that they're at the door.

"Good morning, we brought you breakfast!" Kelp excitedly greets Wish.

"おはよう!" [Good morning!] says Hope. She grabs one of the smaller muffins, wile Wish takes one of the larger ones. "ありがとう," [Thanks,] says Wish.

"We've got some good news, your Splattershot Jr. has been fixed. I have been told that its quality is right back the way it was before it got broken, so Sheldon won't suspect a thing." Coral says to the two Octolings.

The two are excited to participate in Turf Wars again, but... how will Hope participate if she's so small? Wish also has an unfair advantage, being bigger than most Inklings and Octolings.

"Hmm, what if you two reunited?" Coral asks. "Maybe the difference in size can help one of you become as tall as Kelp or me."

Hope and Wish focus their power on merging. After several, several tries, they're now one. Hope now has heterochromia, with her right eye and sclera colors staying the same, and her left eye and sclera changing to match Wish, with a dark purple eye and a white sclera. Specks of dark purple are in her tentacles and eyebrows, as well. The color of the specks of ink, the tentacles, and the eyebrows change depending on who's talking. If they're in Turf Wars, all the ink changes to the team's ink color, but the heterochromia stays.

"Perfect, now let's go get your Splattershot Jr. so we can play some Turf Wars today!" Coral says as he leads the group to a small weapon-repair shop.
