"Thanks," Mirage responds. How long will it take? Who knows. "Let's hope I won't have to use it," he says, uncertainty in his voice. "What were those things they said? Turf War and Salmon Run? ...and didn't they say that this 'Salmon Run' needs to be worked in shifts?" Mirage asks himself. "Are you planning on doing a Turf War at some point, or are you wanting to do some Salmon Run shifts?" he asks Coral and Kelp.

 

[Cephalobro]

"Well, Hope can't superjump, or at least that's what she told us, so I guess Turf War." Coral replies.

"Salmon Run is a lot scarier anyways." Kelp adds.

 

[Splatoonlover1]

"Turf War it is, then!" Mirage says. "I think I remember them saying that this 'Turf War' needs two teams of four," he says to himself. "Do you need another team member, or are you going to wait for someone else?" he asks.

 

[Cephalobro]

"I think you could make a great fourth member!" Kelp offers.

 

[Splatoonlover1]

"Hey, thanks," says Mirage. "I've got a Splat Roller at home, so I'll go get it and then go to Deca Tower and wait. Does that sound good?" he asks.

 

[Cephalobro]

"Yup." Coral answers.

 

[Splatoonlover1]

Mirage goes to his house and gets his Splat Roller, then goes to Deca Tower and waits for the others, though not before telling Sven "You can't do Turf Wars with us, but you can just watch us." Sven quacks in disappointment, but she knows it's true. Mirage hugs her, and she quacks.

Back with Hope... the tentacles, eyebrows, and ink specks revert back to their normal colors, allowing her to take control again. She doesn't know how long it'll take before she can get her weapon back.

Coral leads Kelp and Hope to the weapon repair shop. The Deluxe Octocopter mechanic at the shop is seen applying just a few finishing touches to make sure the Splattershot Jr. looks, feels, and works exactly like before it became broken.

Hope follows Coral and enters the repair shop, ready to see the progress on her weapon.

 

[Cephalobro]

"You're just in time!" the Deluxe Octocopter says, "These two you are with believe that this weapon belongs to you."

The Deluxe Octocopter hands the newly-fixed Splattershot Jr. back to Hope.

Hope takes the Splattershot Jr., thanking the Speedy Octocopter. She's ready for the Turf War, so she goes to Deca Tower, where Mirage is waiting. "Are you ready?" he asks the three. "はい!" [Yes!] responds Hope. She's ready. Her tentacles change color again, allowing Wish to speak. "はい," [Yes,] he says. He's ready, even though he won't participate. The tentacles change back. Four other cephalopods enter Deca Tower, ready for the Turf War.

(Oh, right. Um... how about Ancho-V Games?)

 

[Cephalobro]

The group of 8 has arrived at Ancho-V Games, the four cephalopods the team is facing against consists of a Goo Tuber, an N-Zap '83, a Sorella Brella, and a Heavy Splatling.

"Once I get the chance, I want to see what games they make are like." Coral says as he thinks about trying out video-games made by Ancho-V Games.

"Okay, everyone. Let's split up so we can try and cover more ground," says Mirage. Once the timer starts, he gets to inking the turf around the spawn point, then he rushes forward to try and get more. Hope goes to the left to try and ink more turf.

 

[Cephalobro]

Coral and Kelp starts inking toward the middle to get some early game splats while Kelp inks the ground in a pacing action to make sure get many early points.

Mirage and Hope continue to ink as much turf as they can. Hope throws a Splat Bomb towards one of the opposing team's members. "おでまし!" [Appear!] she says as she throws it, and chuckling to herself when it explodes.

Kelp catches up to Coral as both of them encounters two opponents from the other team. Coral manages to outsmart one of them and got out of Kelp's way so the other opponent could be splatted as well.

Mirage encounters the Heavy Splatling opponent, who revs up their weapon and fires at the electronic Mewtwo-turned-Inkling figure. He swings his Splat Roller, hides in his ink to refill, then throws a Curling Bomb towards them.

Coral has an encounter with the Sorella Brella, he waits until its shield is shot out before splatting the wielder, which he does so.
