Hope continues to ink turf, then refills her ink and throws a Splat Bomb. "おでまし!" [Appear!] she says as she throws it, chuckling when it explodes.

The timer hits 2:00 (2 minutes) as most of the floor is covered with ink.

Mirage and Hope continue to ink as much turf as they can, and the electronic Mewtwo-turned-Inkling figure refills his ink and tosses another Curling Bomb.

Coral and Kelp manages to get to the other team's area and ink more to get the upper hand. The timer now hits 1:00 (one minute).

"Alright, everyone! It's now or never! Let's do this!" says Mirage, hoping to motivate the team to push through. He refills his ink and throws another Curling Bomb, then inks as much turf as he can before he refills his ink again.

After besting three opponents at once, Coral and Kelp activate their specials at the same time. Coral uses his Inkjet to start shooting blasts at the remaining opponent while hovering to some of the higher platforms to ink what he can while Kelp throws her Ink Storm in the middle of the stage to help with covering the middle with ink.

Mirage activates his Sting Ray, trying to help the best he can. Hope activates her Ink Armor just in case, then she fires her Splattershot Jr., while Mirage swings his Splat Roller.
