Hope is quite confused. "何...何起こる?" [What... what happen?] she asks. Meanwhile, Mirage falls into an alternate state of some kind, as he inks the ground wildly without any care or worry that the timer may have stopped. The Roller must have been pretty heavy to make him slip. Sven is watching in Inkopolis Square, but she soon notices that her best friend has fallen into his Georgie-Poo state. She knows she can't enter, so she decides to just wait until they come out.

Coral and Kelp is confused at the entire situation.

"What the heck is happening?" Coral asks.

"Can't we have one day without unneeded chaos?" Kelp follows up with a question, a little bit annoyed.

Hope shrugs, just as confused. Mirage hurries up to Coral and Kelp. "Can I have some crackers?" he asks. He won't stop inking turf until someone releases him from his Georgie-Poo state. If anyone knows how to snap someone out of hypnotism, do it. Sven is still waiting outside Deca Tower, worried for her friend.

Mirage continues inking turf, not stopping until one of the two things happen. Hope tries to stop him, but she doesn't know what to do to snap him out of the state.

Coral goes to Mirage and tries to shake him out of the state.

"Keep it together man!" Coral tells the Inkling as he shakes him to hopefully snap him out of the state.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. Mirage swings his Roller on Bicycle Mike, believing he's one of the opposing team's members.

Mirage looks around, seemingly mesmerized by all the 'pretty lights', as he puts it. "Pretty light over there," he says, pointing to the computers. He follows the light, leading to him standing by the computers in apparent awe. He eventually notices an open extention cord by them, asking "What's this do?" He pokes it until he gets a spark to contact his hand. "Bad pretty light!" he says shortly afterwards, kicking it away.

Coral and Kelp decide to keep going on the match to see if it can be recovered.

"We don't have time to be distracted, the match is about to be over and the other team is inking turf back fast!" Coral points out as he resumes inking the ground.

Hope continues inking turf, refilling her ink afterwards and throwing a Splat Bomb. "おでまし!" [Appear!] she says. Mirage inks turf wildly and without any worry or care. He's still somewhat out of it, though there could be a substitute to take his place in the match if it's allowed.
