The Octocopters gladly take General Anemone up on the offer, walking to the fund box to try and start on their work.

"I was going to show you three the house you will be living in, but I will show you at the end of the day if you wish to go to work immediately." General Anemone says to the three Octocopters.

Meanwhile, Kelp shows up holding Coral in her arms.

"Why did you give them a job that requires walking?" Kelp asks her Octohurler uncle.

"Just so they can train their legs. They depended on propeller helmets their whole life when they were in Octo Canyon, so it's a good idea to give them a chance in being able to walk normally like all the other Octarians here who only use their machine as a secondary option for movement." General Anemone explains to his niece.

"It's a good decision, I hope you can show the house to the Octocopters so they have a place to stay." Coral replies.

"I will get to that once their job is done." General Anemone responds.

General Anemone looks at his reflection on the water in the fountain, seeing his eyepatch covering his scarred left eye.

"What is wrong, uncle?" Kelp asks.

"I forgot how terrible DJ Octavio can be, I remember my fight against him where he scarred my left eye. He probably didn't care about those Octocopters' ability to walk being hindered by the dependency on those helmets." General Anemone explains.

The Octocopters look at General Anemone, concerned. They get as much money from the fund box as they can, then drop it off at the General's office. Afterwards, they go to check on General Anemone, wondering if he's okay.

 

[Cephalobro]

"Oh, sorry it was just a bad memory, that's all." General Anemone tells the Octocopters, not wanting to mention DJ Octavio. "I almost forgot, I have to show you three to your new house!"

The Octocopters are ready to see their house. They're still trying to get used to all this walking, but they eventually will get used to it.

General Anemone arrives at the house.

"Here it is, your new home! Now there might not be furniture inside yet, but a furniture sales place will be opening up soon." General Anemone says to the Octocopters. "Oh, and here are your earnings for the day."

General Anemone hands the Octocopters a bit of cash.

"The Octarians here all work for me, so they all earn cash by helping the neighborhood's development in some way, as well as other work they do." General Anemone explains to the Octocopters.

The Octocopters take the cash, thanking General Anemone as best they can. This seems to be their pay for the job. They're glad they're getting paid, since DJ Octavio never paid them for their work.

Meanwhile... after a while of thinking about it, Wish gets off of the train bench and heads back to Inkopolis Square, inky tears streaming down his face. He has to live with the guilt, whether he likes it or not.

"And about being in my army, it's your choice if you want to or not. Anyone who joins does so willingly." General Anemone explains. "But no need to worry about that, I'm not hiring for members at the moment. The neigborhood's development is more important."

The Octocopters salute as best they can with no arms. They go back to the fund box and bring as much cash as they can to General Anemone's office, attempting to continue their work despite the fact that they were already given their pay for the day.

Kelp takes Coral in her arms to Inkopolis Square, unsure of what to do since she can't go on a date with Coral in his current condition. On the way, they see Wish still saddened from earlier. Kelp sits beside him, placing Coral on her lap.

"You didn't have control over yourself back there." Kelp tries to comfort Wish.

"And I'm not mad at you at all, Kelp and I have fought hypnotized Octolings before making to the surface and we know the pain of having to fight one of our own kind in a real war." Coral explains to Wish.

"本当に?" [Really?] asks Wish. He looks at Coral before asking "ごめんなさい... どうやって補うの?" [Wish sorry... How make up?]

"I'm fine, Coral is recovering, he should be better tomorrow." Kelp replies to Frankus.

"Well, just promise me that you will do your best to keep Hope safe, given she is part of you and all." Coral says to Wish.

Wish nods in affirmation. He'll do his best to keep Hope safe. Speaking of Hope, she takes control for a bit. "コーラ？何が起きましたか?" [Cora? What happen?] she asks after she sees his injuries.

"Your other half was hypnotized by the Octarians in Octo Canyon and I was forced to fight him." Coral explains. "As I was getting closer to Wish to take the hypnoshades off him, the Octo Shower decided to ignore Kelp and attack me instead, forcing me to take a few hits from Wish's powers."

"I had to deal with the Octo Shower myself, but instead of splatting the Octocopters, I spared them instead, now they live in the neighborhood, forgetting about DJ Octavio for good." Kelp tells her part.

"Wish felt guilty afterwards, then he asked me how he could make up for his actions, I answered by making him promise me to keep you safe." Coral finishes.
