It would make sense for a challenge to have randomized kits, but a mode specifically dedicated to have abnormal kits should definitely be choice-based.

After playing some Dynamo I’m starting to see rollers in a new light, and by extension shooters. Both classes are designed to splat fast in close combat while also painting really well. Rollers are ultimately better designed and more interesting for games because they lean more into the former trait than the latter, even in Dynamo’s case. I may make a post outlining these thoughts later.
