I am not feeling optimistic. Just in general. But I also think we will get one.

I am optimistic about the fact that we’ll get a patch. I am not optimistic about its potential contents. Nintendo has consistently failed to nerf shooters, and I can see a definite possibility of them overnerfing options like Snipewriter and Splatana Stamper and leaving shooters to reign and ruin the game for the second time over.

Hopefully that won’t happen, but I am bracing myself for it. With expectations this low, anything is a win.

I’m planning to try out more main weapons now that content is winding down, hopefully find a consistent main weapon.
I’ll probably have to start a list and move through it elimination-style to get any hard data.

I think bombs are fine. Random bomb deaths are annoying but not the end of the world and will happen way less often when you manage your camera a bit better. If that's what's necessary for shorter-ranged weapons to pose at least some notable threat against longer-ranged stuff then yeah, that's a fine tradeoff. Still wish Fizzy Bomb was less spammable though.

I think the bombs are all fine my only critique is with fizzy and torp which can get a awful lot done at certain times just by spamming them but idk how you could fix that
