I think all bombs need is the paint splatters around the main circle removed (it's like 40% of the paint), and a slight nerf to the indirect radius (7.0 is too much for a 1 second fuse time)

I still think Torpedo's ring of explosive pellets should be reworked into a unique sub. I'm thinking a 45% cost contact explosion sub with a small 35 damage radius and a bunch of 12.5 damage pellets. Primarily for chip damage, secondarily for cheap paint to help options that need it most, like blasters or rollers. Serves as a nerf to Torpedo's threat level in the process.

Fizzy Bomb should have its damage reduced from 50 direct/35 indirect to 45 direct/30 indirect, reducing its chip damage power. Then its ink cost should be tied to its level of charge; 55% for no charge, 60% for partial charge, and 65% for full charge.

No sign of a mid-season balance patch huh. I guess it could still happen, but the window of hope closes a little more each day.

Oh well, I didn't expect it too much but it would have been nice, even if just for discussions' sake.

Without new seasons being a big deal anymore, it's possible that we could get a patch at any time. Though I haven't given up hope on a mid-season patch; the latest one we ever got released past the 20th of the month.

they mentioned they will deal with things based on long term data whenever they do release the patch
it makes me wonder if they will touch 52 and stamper

Which is your favorite boss salmonid and why?
I like Stingers because their pot towers are satisfying to take out and their attacks are easy to predict and manipulate.
A close second would be Drizzlers due mostly to their redirectable torpedoes.

drizzlers might be one of my favorites tbh because of how satisfying it is to aim their torpedoes back at them. slammin' lids are also one of my favorites because of how fun they are to use against other salmonids, and they knock you off their lid with a ladle if you stay up there with them too long and i just think that's silly

maws and i have a complicated relationship.

Scrappers because of the lore implications of the broken car jingle

I'm seconding Slammin Lids and Drizzlers, but I also really like fish sticks, since you get to """choose""" between ignoring them (don't) or having multiple ways of handling them. Plus you get to do parkour, and you can even use them to go to and fro slammin lids. Win-Win
