before i got my driver's license (at the big age of 23) (worst mistake of my life btw) my favorite joke to make on vc while playing splatoon was getting kills with reefslider and going "i love running people over! can't wait to get my license!"

TBF I kinda wish Slider stayed bad. The thing is such a pain to fight and the only real redeeming quality of its being good is making a handful of good main weapons (and Dapples) more viable.

Even in maining a slow, shorter-but-still-mid-ranged weapon that by all accounts should be weak to Reefslider, I still haven't minded it. The buff is stupid but the thing is still incredibly punishable. Just need to play to cover which is something you should be doing anyways.

*and maybe keep glancing at the hud when you see a reefslider weapon to see if they have special which isn't ideal but that much is at least needed for other weapons a lot more

Slider had a very obvious way to fix it Bubble I think is a lot trickier to balance so I think slider is more unfortunate
