Glad I got my expectations lowered when it comes to having playable Octolings. But hey, Cloud from FFVII's gonna be playable in Smash along with a female Link in HWL, that's something, right?

........Man, that Direct was terrible despite never watching it.

It wasn't that bad; it was actually pretty good to be honest (although it fell a bit flat half way through because of the lower tier games). Definitely much better than E3 2015.

I'm def disappointed at the lack of Octolings, but the Splatoon portion showed me something. Nikki found those things while data mining, along with Octolings. Perhaps Octolings will be a Q2/Q3 2016 thing? Or perhaps they're being updated for another reason. *shrugs* I really have no clue at this point.
