What? That doesn't happen here. The only places I could even think of in my city that would have a flagpole is the Town Hall, schools, and parks. Where did you go when you visited the USA to see a flagpole at every house?

1. The obvious answer is Tapu Koko! I also quite like Alola Marowak and, seeing as I always pick the Grass starter, Rowlet is awesome!

3. ...LOOOOOOVE PROJECT M! So I've told this story a couple times already, but in late 2013 when I was in college I started playing Project M. That was single-handedly THE game that made me a competitive Smash player. I went to tournaments all the time, practiced with other high-tier players three times a week after classes, and by summer 2014 I was highly ranked on the power ranking for the central region of my state. Sadly I haven't played it much after Smash Wii U was released, and the C&D by Nintendo hasn't helped, but maybe soon I'll return to my love. :)

Yeah, sorry, deliberate but uncalled-for and mean-spirited hyperbole on my part. I pretty much have exclusively been to Florida (where my relatives live), and I am sure that I saw a lot of flags around compared to what I see in the UK, but I don't think that I saw anything to support what I said. Still stands that I'd struggle to find one anywhere around where I live.

1. I haven't played chess in forever but I do enjoy it. Not terribly good, nor am I plain terrible. I also like games of Scrabble in which everyone is actually competent enough to set up for subsequent moves. Simple card games are fun (like, with classic four-suit playing cards), although I don't know many. I would love to get into the Pokémon TCG.
2. Number from the air: seven. I've played the most recent ten 'fests and in a couple of them at the start, I didn't feel the need to play all the way to royalty, but otherwise, I've always reached Queen.
3. I dunno. Nothing very special, ever; I've just bounced between grandparents on alternating years for most of my life.

I'll tag next time, unless I notice that the thread is dead, in which case I'll make a wake-up post.

Typically my go-tos are Trivial Pursuit, Risk or (if I feel like ruining friendships) Monopoly, but really I'll play just about anything (on a related note, game nights are my jam!)
2. Probably all but 1 or 2 out of the ones I've participated in.
3. Spring break 2012 in Brussels and Paris will forever be my favorite vacation experience.

1. For pie, I gotta say Sweet Potato. I have it every year for Thanksgiving:)

1. Mm... uh... yeah... no? On the whole, not really. I had a bath and ate a divine bagel earlier on, the combination of which is making me rather drowsy.
2. Nah. Not into 'proper' meat. I'm a chicken nugget sort of person.
3. Most kinds of 'pure' chocolate are nice - that is, no berries or anything silly like that in it. I suppose I'm partial to dark chocolate.
