Havent played yet to actually hear the music, but I have seen clips. You can tell the music clashes with pre-existing soundtrack simply by the "1 minute left" Song being jarring as hell when poping up after either of Ink Theory's songs.

Hopefully a future update will make it so the two new bands can have their own version of the song, then I won't be thrown for a loop everytime I turf.

Yeah... Ink Theory is polarizing in the least. People in the comments are either really liking it or just hate it.

I personally really don't like Ink Theory myself, it sounds like a big pile of instruments (mostly TRUMPETS) going off at random intervals. It clashes with the aesthetic of the game while it also sounds like about 7 different genres being played at once.
I wouldn't complain about it that much if it weren't for the fact that there is no sound options in the game, which is kinda weird because literally every other game has sound options. Now you either gotta play the game deaf or you will enjoy your Ink Theory!

I'm a lot more positive to Bottom Feeders though. The shanty vibes fit in with the game's theme somewhat better than IT's music, and the music in itself is still pretty good. Neither of them still really feel like they fit in with the rest of the OST, though.

No Cyber Monday/Black Friday deals on a Pro Controller either. If it were any other electronic, now would be a good time for it to break.

You know what's fun? Being the only lv 50 person in a ranked lobby and still getting crapped on. So much for "practice makes perfect", eh?

I have an idea. Each copy of Splatoon 2 comes with a prescription of Ritalin.

Does the warranty not cover that damage or has it expired.

At the very least, one of my Amazon alerts went off and they took a whole $10 of the pro controller today. $10... such a wild discount. Don't go too crazy with those deals, Nintendo. ¬_¬

The warranty does indeed cover that, but then I have to use the janky joy-cons for weeks :P FIRST-WORLD PROBLEMS!

*GASP*

You uncultured brute! The joycons are the most well conceived gaming controllers in decades! Their design is as immaculate in their conception as Mario's moustache.

And yes, I am incapable of saying that all with a straight face. :p

I don't like the new songs. Even if Im still not sure what I should think about them. But since Im learning new weapons right now and therefor being a lot in turf wars I can say that the new songs are always kinda popping up in my brain once there is only 1 minute left because of the songs just not matching at all.

I like the joycons. *shrugs*.
They're an okay device. A dreamed of and imagined device finally given physical form. (kid ansible: *squeals* £@¢# YEAH! *hides for cursing*) Yet it's not without flaws. But I mostly attribute that to it being a 1.0 version, and me desiring further, improved joycon iterations down the line.

Now if I can just get them to properly work on my computer then that'd be golden.

I mean, they allow me to play Splatoon in handheld mode. That is gold for me.

Is Ink Storm and Bubble Blower the new splatzone meta? I keep seeing tons of those specials with special charge up. It's pretty annoying being held off by a torrent of rain and bubbles.

Hasn't the Ink Storm been meta? I haven't seen a lot of the Bubble Blower though. It's crazy how much area that covers now, and is one of the few specials in that game that don't leave you vulnerable (as opposed to the Bubble Blower, Tenta Missiles, Ink Jet, and especially Stingray) which makes it the current best in my opinion and apparently in many other people's. I'm happy though that Nintendo has overall been buffing the specials, as the relative lack of strength of the specials were a common complaint of the game (and along with the ability to change gear without leaving the lobby, shows that Nintendo is actually listening to their fans, albeit late.)

Heavy splatling deco is a great kit because of the bubbles. Way more usable than the regular. Get up high, let em go and pop them yourself, they ink a tonof turf. You gotta be polite to your team though and do it above thier heads, they can be really distracting.

Short answer: Yes!!!

Long answer: Haven't those special been the meta in splat zones for basically forever? Im using Tenta-Missels and InkStorm in since forever. And when I decide to play with the Forge version of my main im also using the Bubble blower too. It's not easy to hold the zone when the enemies are pushing with ink storm or bubble blower (or even worse: BOTH) and your team has to deal with specials, the enemies and holding the zone. Especially when you basically needs to stand in the inkstorm to splat the ground of the zone. Support players can make a huge difference in such a case, even if that difference is in keeping the zones 5 more seconds. Those 5 seconds can decide if you win or lose a game.

But: This Thread is here that everyone can just write out all the **** they experience in the game. We kinda managed to miss it.

The amount of games I've played lately where i have no influence on are seriously getting on my nerves. Either the game autopilots or i lose with a 1/5 KD ratio. I can't really stay mad at my teammates for underpreforming anymore, i can't imagine I'm the only one who this happens to.

Now i get completely random lobbies with power levels ranging between 1800-2200, it's completely nonsensical. There's literally no logic to it, random players are being thrown together and that's usually how these steamrolls happen: whoever has the pro players on their team wins. It also takes the air out of any wins you may have: you didn't contribute to the win, only the guy with 20+ kills did. These aren't the exceptions, this happens just about all the time now.

It really sucks because i still really like this game, but the matchmaking is so bad it's killing my interest in playing this game anymore. I really can't imagine that when the paywall will go up the matchmaking will get any better, seeing as there will be a more people beside me calling it quits. Man, this is frustrating.
