Help??? this is happening so fast?? (wish me luck)
the palpable feeling of relief when you know you're at least going to break even on a series
I have to accept sometimes that a learning method needs to not stress me past a certain point or bore me to death in order to be effective and sustainable. Something being extra tedious doesn't necessarily mean it's going to be a 'better' way to learn. Sometimes it just means I end up using more mental energy than I need to for less results.
I WON A SERIES it was so intense I think I need to take a break from playing because I'm too overjoyed to focus, lol. I just had so many satisfying plays and I feel so good.
I am feeling pretty good about this season. less than 2 weeks in and I have already gotten back to A+ :D
FIFTEEN GOLD SCALES that big run. I'm SO LUCKY :D
Max eggs was 162 and we killed 3 (I think, I lost count) triumvirates. What a fun time. But now my hands hurt and I should probably let them recover so I can get back to practicing all I can for LUTI. AaaaaAAAa everything is so exciting all the time!

Having a real bumpy big run so far but it's so fun revisiting all the past stages and reliving all the memories made during previous big runs. I remember inkblot was where I first got into EVP. I remember barnacle was where I got the highest rank I've ever had. I remember undertow WAS THE WORST. Grizzco seems very intent on having me relive that particular memory for whatever reason.
Reviewing clams games is by far the funniest. Twice I had a clam and passed it to a teammate, successfully cleared a path ahead, only to find they aren't behind me. Upon review I see apparently no one else wanted to hold the clam either and just tossed it around like a hot potato until it ended up out of reach.
I know I'm as guilty of this as anyone if not more but just. lol. We're so silly.
There are days I just want to write seventeen paragraphs about trying to figure out my learning process but I only have 420 characters so uh... Game Hard.
it's definitely been a 'turn up the music louder to drown out the self-doubt' kind of week so far. but I did win a series yesterday and also got a fistbump for the first time in ages (it's so rare for me to get three gold medals to begin with, hah).
Finished one-starring all the new weapons/kits :D New dousers are cool, wellstring is fascinating and I can understand how dcav must feel amazing once the handling of it becomes second nature. I also was having a lot of fun with the crab edit?? It felt like I was able to be a lot more mobile than I remember being with that. And I even had a weirdly fluid-feeling CRB game where I went 8 and 1. All in all a lot of fun!
