My only concern is if the Ninja Squid speed penalty is more sizable now, then patch 1.3 is actually a double nerf to Kraken users who use gear with Ninja Squid. As someone who uses a lot of Kraken Roller, now I swim slower and get pushed back more when shot? I think that means the Kraken will...
Not a high score moment but a clutch outplay moment:
I made the game winning push one game where I was on a roller being chased by another roller and an aerospray. After rolling around and ducking around corners to avoid getting shot, the two were getting pretty close behind me. Then I said EFF...
Tenacity actually kicks in when you have fewer people alive than the enemy team, not just when someone is AFK/out of the game. It actually activates quite a lot (or at least I see its ability icon ticking constantly) but I don't pay close enough attention to my gauge to see how much its really...
I once scored just over 1600 in a game, but I don't remember what my K/D was. I actually don't think it was that high though. I remember a lot of coverage and ink strikes
EDIT: yes, also with the aerospray rg
If you hold Down on the control stick and press Y to reset your camera, you will basically do an instant 180 degree turn. This is helpful for players (like me) who play on the lowest sensitivity since you don''t have to hold a direction and slowly turn around.
Interesting take. If I'm playing Roller/Splattershot Jr. I tend to get that area first, more so with Splattershot Jr. By the time I reach the grate, I either have my special weapon charged up or be very close to having it charged up. You can catch some people early on with a well placed Killer...
does that mean that a kraken can one shot someone even with a bubbler or that it just breaks the shield, letting the kraken to come around again to get the kill?
either way it's nice to have a specific counter to the bubbler
30 rounds will be 90 minutes in Turf Wars since each match is 3 minutes long, total time maybe closer to 2 hours including matchmaking and other time spent in menus.
Not awful but it's still pretty bad. And that's IF you score 1000p per round. In the testfire I would only rarely break 1000...
Oh that's interesting. I wonder (like everyone else) if the boy can wear the skirt since that would sound to me like a "Clothes" slot item and not a "Shoes" slot item, although Nintendo could set things up so that the skirt is part of the Shoes and thus allowing boy inklings to at least wear a...
That's a really good point. Even though I'm getting an amiibo, it sucks that viable (we'll see once we're live, I guess) options could be hidden behind hard to get figures. That just creates an uneven playfield.
I'd hate for competitive Splatoon to be about who has amiibos.
do you have a video link (with preferably the time the info is revealed)? I've been under the impression that Super Sea Snails reroll the whole item but the Direct was a bit vague on that. It'd be awesome for video confirmation one way or another
