Then why do we have a Starter-Counterpick system? It seems much better to have a FLSS system. In your method, it seems to be arbitrarily cutting stages for the first match when we have no idea what a neutral thing is in Splatoon.

So with the Splat zone version of the map now changed to have more walls and platforms, I think Moray Towers really is an amazing map. I thought it before hand, but I hope other people now see it as well.

It is horrendous at one on one confrontations. If you are in a gunfight, the Slosher dies before the other shooter due to how slow each is. If you want to kill directly, you have to flank. However, it is better to play towards it's strength and instead shoot behind cover/overhead of anything...

I hope this won't affect too much stuff in the long run for the online scene. With that said, there will be hopefully tournaments and locals to help satisfy playing with other people fairly, but yeah missing the ability to play a quick random battle would be a huge loss.

So...my least favorite map is getting a redesigned. I don't know how I feel about that. On one hand, yes the stage I dislike the most is now getting fixed. On the other hand, this means any stage can be redesigned, which annoys me that my favorite stages could be ruined.

Ranked matches are described as "for competitive matches." The new squad system only works for ranked modes. The heart of the competitive game was built for ranked modes, while Turf War was made for quick matches and showing off the game. The thing about Turf War is it was built for comebacks...
