Try putting a name for the character that contains more than one letter so the others wouldn't get confused by the letter's certain placements.

(I know there are games with one letter-named characters, but they aren't exclusively text-based.)

• River otter-based humanoid (like inklings but otter instead of squid). Slick hair, sleek, skinny physique, slightly tan skin, small round glittering eyes so dark they look black, and webbed hands. Picture coming soon!
• Shy at first, usually hates confrontation. Once you get to know her though, she is intelligent, creative, playful, energetic and easygoing, if a bit stubborn at times. Very lithe, sporty, and flexible, well coordinated and graceful, quick and speedy.
• Hobbies: reading, building things, fishing, playing the Splatoon-world version of soccer or tag.
• Likes: sports, nature, music, salty foods, jokes, simple and functional outfits.
• Dislikes: smug know-it-alls, crowded rooms, overly flashy gear, snobs who show off their overly flashy gear, spicy food.
• Preferred top accessory: Blowfish Newsie or 18K Aviators or Digi-Camo Forge Mask or (rarely) Full Moon Glasses;
• Preferred shirt: Fishing Vest or Part-Time Pirate or Rockenberg Black, usually with either a skirt or the looser-fitting shorts;
