Cole transforms into his squid form, feeling kind of stupid for not realizing the Octolings had a different squid—or octo? form. He gets ready for a super jump and...
Woah! Cole watches what must be thousands of salmonid shapes move under the water. He lands at the starting platform. Good thing the Salmonids are so far away from Inkopolis... Cole decides to stop thinking about that and starts inking turf with his blaster.

(Sorry, this is another “I’m inexperienced with RPing” question...
Should we wait for Yin_ and HighColorSunset? I don’t want to make you wait, we can still keep going, but otherwise are they just stuck on the boat or something?)

Cole reached the area he thought he heard the battle horn from. Huh? There wasn’t even—
Instinctively switching to squid form, Cole barely escaped the bite of a Maw. That was close! Cole swam near the now-approaching antenna, and tossed a splat bomb last second. The Maw exploded into three golden salmon eggs with a satisfying pop. “Hey guys!” Cole yelled across the area, after grabbing one of the shiny eggs. “There are some golden eggs over this way!”

Kelp noticed multiple green circles around her, then she started freaking out when multiple missiles headed her way. Coral instantly knew a Flyfish is in the area, "Hey Kelp, we can stop these attacks, let's take down the Flyfish!" to which Kelp agreed to help and they both went to the Flyfish, waited for it to open its baskets again. Once the baskets opened, neither hesitated in throwing a Splat Bomb, one in each basket, this is followed by the Flyfish crashing into the ground with a loud thud, releasing three more Golden Eggs. Kelp went over to help Cole retrieve the Golden Eggs dropped by the Maw while Coral focused on getting the ones dropped by the Flyfish.

A steelhead approached the basket as Cole finished retrieving his second egg. Cole missed a blaster shot, forcing him to lunge out of the way of a salmonid bomb. Cole wasn’t too overwhelmed to waste a packaged special, and it only took one more shot finished off the boss. Three more eggs floated close to the basket. Only a couple more bosses and this wave was in the bag!

Coral has just finished bringing the Golden Eggs dropped from the Flyfish into the egg basket, he saw the huge explosion from the Steelhead and went over to pick up the Golden Eggs, while Kelp was desperately swinging her roller at the common Salmonids, not knowing that she could just roll over Chums and Smallfrys.

After bringing back the steelhead salmon eggs, Cole found himself with nothing to do, so he tried helping Kelp hold back the smaller salmonids. Then two loud boss horns went off. Uh oh, this could mean trouble! Cole swam over to the shore to search out the bosses. He walked over to a grated area to get a better look at the area. A mechanical noise behind Cole alerted him that he should really start paying more attention to when things sneak up on him.

An Eel has Cole surrounded! He didn’t even know where the other boss was... Cole hoped it wasn’t a Flyfish. Looks like his only choice was to randomly throw bombs, unless he wanted to waste a special.

Coral responded "No problem!" as he carried back another Golden Egg. Kelp now discovered how to easily deal with Chums and Smallfrys by rolling over them. After the quota was exceeded, the wave has ended and all the surviving Salmonids returned to the water for the time being.
