Just then, a Crimson Tentakook followed Coral out of the facility, wanting to join the other Crimsons who are switching sides. A few minutes later after everyone on General Anemone's army's side including the newly defected Crimsons, the newly freed Ringeds and Inklings fleed the facility, a fleet of Octobombers led by Kelp's sister planted a giant bomb inside it, after which they fled from it before the bomb would explode and render this facility unusable. Kelp noticed that a Crimson Octocopter followed her all the way back to the base, not wanting to do any sort of harm.
General Anemone went outside the base and was surprised at how many more Crimsons had defected from Octavio's army, but nonetheless, he pressed a button that made the bomb inside the facility explode once he made sure everyone made it back. The facility now was nothing but a huge pile of rubble, which made it not capable of using energy. As the now bigger army was celebrating for the destruction of one of the toughest facilities they tackled, General Anemone decided to step to the front of the crowd and give a speech.
"We just reached the halfway point in our journey." he started. "We only have four more facilities to take down, once we take them down, we will finally be able to escape without the danger of the whole Valley collapsing on us!" he stopped then continued, "I remember when the army was only composed of Ringed Octarians, when Coral brought the first Crimson Octoling into the base, I didn't trust that Octoling at first, but now that he has proven to me that not all Crimsons are bad, I decided to let more Crimsons join us." he continued his speech.
"When we just started, we were a weak army number wise, I had to rely on the help of Inklings who were rescued, knowing full well that they could choose not to fight if they didn't want to, putting us in more danger, as we have been taking down more and more facilities, more Crimsons joined us in our efforts, in fact, I was surprised that it was an Inkling who ended up being a traitor. But we pushed through and managed to get here with the few help we had back there along with even more help from the surface as well as those who defected. I hope that we will get even stronger in numbers as we take down the remaining facilities and rescue the remaining Inklings trapped inside them, the great news is that the facility that we just took down is the only one that had our fellow Ringed Octarians trapped inside."
General Anemone paused to catch his breath and spoke again, "Now, I'm going to contact Inkopolis to pick up the Inklings we rescued from both the previous facility and this facility. Who wants to do the honor to give me the important file that they snatched from the facility?" he finished by asking.
