That reminds me, once I get access to something other than a phone, I need to write that post complaining about discussing Nintendo’s poor approach to fixing the meta, which consistently involves buffing shooters and never nerfing them.
Shooter privilege is in fact real.

Slosher seems like it should be a fairly simple weapon to cover. At least it’s not an analysis of Range Blaster. You can do it…! Eventually.

I think everyone is looking forward to the patch. Curious if we’ll get any more map reworks. Another route out of spawn on Marlin would definitely be nice, as would a patch of inkable wall on the grate snipe.

doubt nintendo would actually do anything substantial to it but it needs SOMETHING

I wouldn't expect anything stage-related personally, considering how huge the last reworks we got were I don't think they'll give us any more. That felt like a "last stage update" to me

And overall I have very little expectations for the next patch, I doubt it'll be anything major since content is done. Maybe a few buffs to niche weapons but that's about it. I genuinely don't think they'll nerf zooka.

actually, does that count as a rework?
Edit: Also imo lemuria needs a rework- a flank route at the top of the map, or at least some extra terrain because fights are very boring in that area, and not much of the game is really played there

Honestly, in its current state, maybe I don't want hammer to get buffed. It's kinda cool on paper, but it bullies sooo many relevant matchups: every slosher, stamper, RB, tent... it would probably hurt weapon variety more than anything.

It's also really annoying in rainmaker I won't lie lol
